The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

Food & service were good. Our only issue was we were seated right next to the piano and we had 2 seniors dining with us. It was impossible to talk or hear a thing. The music was beautiful but just way too loud where we were seated.

What can I say. Everything and everyone involved with this restaurant are amazing! So happy they opened near our home.

Outstanding restaurant … busy but the service is impeccable! We had dinner for the first time and invite close friends and everyone enjoyed their dinner. It was a great first time experience. Dessert was meh….. a good cheescake would have been better than the strawberry /creme weird dessert or the over fancy tiramisu. Hey Joey get a cheesecake on the menu!! That would match the excellence of the food offered!

This was our first time to The Italiano. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful- it felt like we were at a restaurant on the Amalfi Coast. The blue & white decor to a beautiful, lively bar area, to live music being played on the Grand Piano. The service was exceptional! At least 3 managers stopped at the table to chat and make sure everything was to our liking. Now, the Food--- AMAZING! The menu is pretty cool--- it reminded me of an encyclopedia. LOL We had the "Feast of the Seven Fishes" 5-course menu. Every course was excellent. So much flavor and fresh ingredients. One course was better than the next. We'll definately be back!!!

We had an amazing dinner the food was incredible and the staff was so great. I loved the ambiance and decor. Such a nice place to celebrate any special event or the holidays. I will definitely be coming back!

So the food was amazing. The shirt rib lasagna was simply amazing. So good. The kids spaghetti and meatball was kind of bland, but that could be because it was a kids meal, but, other than that, it was fine. The new menus that look like encyclopedia were kind of bulky but different. I think that they should rethink the Encyclopedia menu type thing. The ambience was just amazing as well. You would never know that it was the old streets of New York restaurant when you walk in. Our server wasn’t the greatest unfortunately, forgot a few things never got bread to the table, took a little while to get and after dinner coffee, we had to remind him a couple times, but he was very friendly. The management staff was very nice. The passing out of Champagne while you’re waiting for your table was kind of nice different that was complementary. Overall, it was a great experience.

The food and was amazing !! The ambience was nice!! Hostess and waitresses need much more training, but can be solved by management. Coming back!!
