    This place at night is beautiful we did outdoor dining my man & I for Christmas Eve, I received a text earlier then my reservation time which was great, we got seated immediately. Our server came to us provided us with water and took our chose of drinks and explained certain dishes we had questions on, we ordered and appetizer came to our table at a reasonable time, we then ordered our entrees and food also came out at a reasonable time, our food was fresh and tasty. Took a walk inside this place is a gem, if your looking for a nice night out this is a place you should definitely try, looking forward on doing brunch one weekend.

    Such great food! Our server was really nice and we had a great time:it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Rainbow trout 10/10

    This was my third time eating at The House on the River. It’s a spectacular spot right on the water with a charming outdoor area as well as unique indoor rooms. The food is extremely tasty and the brunch menu varied. They easily accommodated dietary needs for my family. I am a subscriber at the nearby Broward Center and this is my pre-show go-to from now on!

    Nice setting, food good not great. Service was ok, waited 15 minutes to get coffee because it had to brew. Weird for a brunch place not being on top of that and server laughed when I said that. Not a good look.

    1st time dinning there. Highly recommend this eclectic restaurant! The food was excellent! They save a server can make or break a dining experience, so true! Our server, Christina, was by far the best server we’ve had out in a very long time. She was attentive, friendly & witty. We will request her everytime we return!

    Above average food and beautiful location. The prix fixe menu was surprisingly good value. Great pre theater spot.

    My man & I went there for date night & booked the swing room. The food was delicious and fresh & every member of the staff was friendly. Only one thing is I wished the windows overlooking the River was clean.. it was very hard to see through the glass because the windows were very dirty. Otherwise, our experience was great.

    Friend’s birthday celebration pre- show at Broward Center for the Performing Arts Server was prompt and knowledgeable. Our food selections ranged from appetizers and salad to pasta bolognese and pork chop entrees. The atmosphere was warm and festive - l The restaurant is located a short walk from the Broward Center along the waterfront and is a great complement to an enjoyable evening with friends

    Been there for brunch a few times and really enjoyed it. The dinner not so much. My friend said the salad was disappointing… and I wasn’t crazy hungry so I had their burger… which really was borderline bad tbh. But the atmosphere can’t be beat… we will stick with brunch and go elsewhere before the shows at the Broward Center for now…
