   First time visitors, food a bit more pricey than other places but the quality was good. Was a bit chilly having a drink in the area to the side of eating tables . Service good and music played at a nice level on a non busy evening. My friend is a smoker and she liked the fact that the music is also outside.

   The staff were all very friendly, there was nothing too much trouble. A little slow on clearing the table but were attentive when I caught their eye. Food was delicious! Would definitely recommend!

   Great service, the meal was excellent and the waitresses were happy and friendly. A great night out overall.

   I ordered fish and chips when it arrived The batter was very dark and greasy Plates cold It was replaced but the replacement was no better.In all fairness they did swop it for a beef dinner which was ok ,once again cold plates. Overall very disappointing with the standard of food but the service was pretty good. They need to check how often they change the oil in fryers Fish should be golden

   Hi Steve, Thank You for your review. As explained our beer batter is made with a darker ale so hence the colour, Although we did replace your meal twice at our expense we can only apologise it did live up to your expectations. I'm a little surprised you have quoted our service "pretty good" but only given an average 3/5 for the service. We have taken your feedback on board and Thank You for it.    Great little pub with a lovely varied menu. The food was all beautifully presented and all very tasty. I had the Korean pork bun starter with beef and cheese pie/ mash as main and couldn’t resist the amaretto sponge with ice cream dessert special. My partner had calamari as a starter followed by the cod / rossti spinach special which was perfect. Definitely worth a visit and we will be visiting again soon.

   After a wonderful Christmas meal with great food and exceptional service I decided to take my sister here for a meal, it couldn’t of been more different x I felt I was a hinderance to the waitress and the fish was so greasy I just couldn’t eat it, as for the salad as I didn’t want chips, a bit of iceberg lettuce , a chopped tomato and a radish. My sisters meal was no better, we won’t be returning again which is such a shame after the lovely experience at Christmas

    Went for Sunday lunch for my wife’s birthday, food and service was excellent, plenty of food and great tasting. Will definitely be going there again .
