Introducing The Greggory, set to open in the Arboretum of South Barrington on March 7th, 2025. This restaurant redefines American classics with a touch of warm, sincere hospitality. The establishment is helmed by seasoned restaurateurs Gregg Horan of Gibsons Restaurant Group and Bill Veremis of Rosewood Steakhouse Group, alongside partner Executive Chef Jose Sosa of Gibsons Italia.

The different rooms, the back bar, decor, space between tables, all the first things you see really set the tone. The attentive service, great variety of food and beverage choices, and quality just raised the bar even further. What a fantastic meal we had. Pork chop, filet, prime rib, everything was cooked to perfection. And don't pass up dessert, the praline chocolate cake is definitely large enough to share but don't be surprised if you don't want to, it's that good.

We've been for what felt like forever for this place to open its doors and boy was it worth the wait! What an amazing experience! We had the pleasure of enjoying Day 2 of opening their doors, as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. And so glad we dined here as everything was pretty spectacular. Was it very busy and noisy...sure. But all managers made sure to stop by to say hello & check on us including Mr. Greg himself. The restaurant is gorgeous with attention to every detail. We had the following items: popovers (these are to die for), crabmeat with avocado, ribeye, full lobster, cheeseburger plates (for the kiddos), mushrooms & mashed potatoes. And for dessert was the white chocolate mousse cake which honestly landed with us as a most savory tres leches and may be a new favorite dessert for us. We also had the Kentucky Buck, a glass of Riesling and Greg's Way. Only constructive feedback would be on the kids meal options which are still in the works. Hit a little hard on the $40 cost for 2 cheeseburger plates as the only option offered. But looking forward to what they offer in the near future. Thanks you for the complimentary champagne toast!!! Excited to spend some time at the bar in a next visit. Thank you to The Greggory team and our fantastic waiter Patrick for making our night extra special.

Great addition to the area. Gives that downtown Chicago vibe. Food and service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Outstanding experience wonderful decor fantastic service. Everything we had was absolutely delicious from start to finish. This spot is a definite winner.

I like a baked potato with my steak that is not an option. They only have French onion soup no other soup option. It is a new restaurant so I think they may make adjustments on the menu. The staff was almost to attentive. The price was a bit high.

It was just OK...for the price, expected much better. Only the 2nd night though. Found most of our soups and food very salty. Praline Chocolate cake and drinks were good though!

Just by luck, we were able to get in on opening night. Considering there was not a “soft” opening, they did not disappoint. Our server Angelica was outstanding. Food was done very well. Corkage fee is reasonable. Beautiful ambiance. Well done. We will be back.

The food was excellent. Our servers were very attentive to our wants and explained everything to us and made good recommendations. We were not rushed and had a very nice evening. My prime rib was the best I have ever had.
