This is our second time dining here- Service is over the top. Best Steak I’ve ever had. Garrett the Manager is so personable and makes your experience one you will not forget. This is a place you will want to celebrate a Bday - they make it unforgettable. Service and Food is Top Notch!

Outstanding in every way! Love the luxe dining room, Chef Jose’s delicious menu - especially the cold and hot seafood towers! - and the wonderful hospitality. Already feels like one the best. Can’t wait to see how the restaurant evolves and can’t wait to get back for my next dinner in the burbs.

Food and service were amazing. Only downside was at the end when getting dessert - we wanted one sundae tower since one of us was not going to eat it (asked for an extra spoon just in case) but we had to order for two because “the chef would not allow it” kind of odd to do especially we were celebrating a birthday but we went along with it even though it was a total waste.

The food was amazing. The creamed spinach was to die for. Yannis was great too. We cannot wait to go back!

The food was Great and well presented. The sides were very disappointing and not enough for sharing. I would recommend Appetizers, Prime Rid cooked to perfection and the Steaks were fabulous.

We were looking for a special restaurant to celebrate a birthday and typically head to downtown Chicago or our daughter's River North or other neighborhood. I read about The Greggory opening soon as well as those associated with this new South Barrington restaurant and immediately reserved based on what I read. It did not disappoint! As luck would have it we were seated very close to the hearth cooking which added to the special night for our trio. Our server (Michael?) and the maitre'd/owner? were attentive and knowledgeable with everything from lovely beverage selections to answering our many questions about bar bites, entrees, about The Greggory, etc. Selections were varied but we landed on two orders of steak frites and the Glory Bay Salmon with a lobster roll plus asparagus and wild mushroom sides. Each item was delicious, prepared precisely as ordered and the sides complemented our entree selections (we did a lot of sharing as portions were more generous than expected). Amazing that everything (excluding the birthday dessert and maybe the mushrooms) were hearth prepared - so versatile! While it only has been open about a month, The Greggory definitely has settled in and appears to be a major hit based on the packed dining room and side bars at 5:45 pm on a Saturday. So happy to have this excellent new restaurant close by our home - welcome to the neighborhood!
