   We both had the famous hamburger which was excellent, rich, juicy, cooked to perfection and so tasty! We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive. Ambiance: so dark that you had to use phone to see check. Loud and crowded at bar seating, recommend making reservations early enough to get a table.

   Probably the best burger we ever had. Just so tasty…lightest brioche bun ever. Really perfect. The service was outstanding with all, from the hostess to bartender to waiter. Excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

   Had a five star experience at the grand Tavern yesterday. For appetizers we ordered the steak tartare and oysters. Both were absolutely phenomenal and packed so much flavor in each bite. My bourbon special cocktail was delicious as well. For dinner, my partner and I shared the hamburger and scallops. We left no food behind. The service was wonderful as well. The hostess was sweet and the bartender was amazing.

   The Grand Tavern is a fantastic date spot or even just to catch up with friends and family. The food was outstanding and the service was perfect. Highly recommend, especially for people that are from the city that wants a city restaurant feel.

    Overpriced main courses, service felt very abrupt, we felt very rushed at the end of our meal because they wanted to close and we were the last table
