7 of us stayed at the KP Lodges and ate at the Glasshouse, our party found the Glasshouse service very good, food was excellent and good value for money, would recommend the restaurant.

Overall we had a lovely experience of the Kp restaurant, although service was a little slow, the food quality was good and the staff very friendly. The setting is amazing, overlooking the beautiful countryside whilst eating lunch.

We ate at the KP as we were booked into one of the Lodges on a half board basis. The staff were very friendly & professional and the menu was varied enough to suit both our appetites. We particularly enjoyed the bottle of champagne we were able to purchase as it was our favourite (Laurent Perrier Rose). The food was well cooked and presented. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of coffee. The only slight let down was the lack of fried eggs and the scrambled eggs were a little strange. All in all a very nice experience.

Pleased with our visit and service was great. Didn't have to wait long for meals. My sister (who's hen party it was) has a gluten intolerance and she was able to have a good option of meals. Slightly expensive for the amount and quality of food you got but not majorly. Thank you

Such a disappointment in a beautiful setting. When we arrives at 6.15pm the restaurant was practically empty, there was a single diner and a table of six, we were sat next to them, the table of six were quite exuberant and so loud that we couldn't hear ourselves speak, they were swearing quite loudly (not in an aggressive way) and we had our six year old daughter with us which was quite awkward. The staff seemed preoccupied with everything but the diners, there was no hope of catching their eye and ordered drinks did not arrive, the menu wasn't explained, and we felt that we were an inconvenience. When my small, dry looking fishcakes with a pale flaccid egg and bit of soggy spinach arrived (£9) I waited a while to see if anything came with it, after some time I managed to get the attention of the waitress and asked if it came with a salad "Oh loads of people have asked that, chef should really add it on, I'll get you some" she replied and came back with some woody tasting leaves, half a tomato and some cucumber. Then the chips arrived, one bowl were very well done and cold and the other not so well done and cold. The childrens meal looked awful, two grotty over done sausages, some translucent mash and congealed luke warm beans in a pot. we ate quickly and took our drinks outside to admire the view and for our daughter to have her ice cream, which was absolutely delicious, the best part of the meal. It was out 10th Wedding Anniversary and sadly the meal and service in no way matched the wonderful setting, such a shame.

Food was nice although the menu could do with a few more options for the more fussy eaters however not a minimal choice!! Food was tasty and good portion sizes Kids meals great and good value service was good

I booked a table at the Glasshouse to coincide with my Wife and I spending the night in one of the hotel lodges. Whilst I booked initially through convenience it was soon proven to be far more than that as from the moment we entered the restaurant we were treated to a diner experience far beyond our expectation levels. The restaurant manager (or at least who appeared to be) was a charming man who effortlessly kept control of a busy evening whilst tending not only to his guests but more noticeably his staff who seemed young in both age and tenure. He offered them support at every turn and did so in a way that did not come across at all patronising which in turn led to a smooth evening. The food was faultless and the service was flawless. We left with our visit being far more than we had planned for and were compelled to leave a review which we do not ordinarily do.
