The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea.

The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.

Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

Ein ausgezeichnetes Lokal. Sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Das Essen war wirklich klasse. Angefangen beim Gruß aus der Küche, über die Vorspeise bis zum Hauptgericht. Die Empfehlung zum Wein excellent. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und werden es sicher nochmal besuchen.

Am Rand von Chelsea in ruhiger Lage. Gut mit öffentlichem Verkehrsmittel erreichbar (Underground 10 Minuten, Bus 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt). Außen und innen sehr ansprechendes Pub mit freundlich routiniertem Personal. Aufmerksame schnelle Bedienung, leckeres und optisch ansprechendes Essen. Leider sehr laut im Wintergarten.

Been here lots of times, food has always been excellent. The food was still good, however we noticed the menu has changed and also no special were on the board. We was a little disappointed with the selection this time and hope there is more options on our next visit.

I'd read a lot of good reviews so was really looking forward to our evening and I was not disappointed. We shared the roast chicken which was delicious and the best home tasting cooked roast I've ever had at a restaurant. It has a very British charm to the place and the staff were super friendly. Absolutely we will go back, many thanks for a lovely evening

The food was excellent. The service was very good though. The room was very noisy though so it made conversation more difficult.

Food was great overall! Staff were a bit moody being a game day and all I’m sure they were busy. They made us feel a bit odd and cheap for not ordering drinks but my partner and I were both not drinking at the minute.
