   Recommended by friends and was not disappointed We ate in the bar as we had brought dog with us and they couldn’t have been more hospitable Service was spot on the food we ordered was delicious and the Guinness was fab Would highly recommend

   A really lovely pub - nicely decorated, roaring fires & comfortable chesterfield sofas. The staff were very friendly indeed as were the other customers. A very nice atmosphere - & the staff made a fuss of my husband for his birthday. And the food was second to none. I had the small fish & chips which was more than big enough. The fish was cooked perfectly. My husband had the burger - tastiest he’s ever had apparently. Some of the meals are a bit pricey for our budget, but that seems to be the way of things now. We will definitely go back. Loved it!

   As always, such a great night was had at the Esk. It is the best dining experience on the North York Moors, fantastic!!!

   Food was delicious, service was friendly informal and just right. Privé was a touch high but would definitely come again and strongly recommend. A lovely pub and lovely food.

   Always amazing food, great service and always welcoming to us and our friends and family. Our friends loved the food today, their first time visiting. We are very lucky to have this place on our doorstep.

    We enjoyed a genuinely warm welcome to this lovely country pub with a fantastic menu from staff who were friendly & attentive. The food was delicious from starter to dessert, with every dish being an appetising choice. Hv already thoroughly recommended to friends & family - we’ll definitely be back.
