food was great, ambience fun. Would be nice to have the servers know a little bit more about the ingredients of the food and drinks.

Came here for a family dinner celebration and had an excellent experience! Service was top notch from everyone involved, including some exceptional wine recommendations from Jack. Food was amazing, Hoisin Pork Belly, Mushroom Risotto, and the Duck & Cassoulet were some standouts. Cheers to Chef Brian and his team! We will certainly be back!!

Slightly slow service just before dinner hour however very friendly. Our food took some time but was very good. Drinks delicious (especially the old growth cocktail!) dessert was noticeably pre frozen. Not a 10/10 but we would definitely dine again.

The Courtney Room remains our favourite restaurant in Victoria. Our visit this time was much simpler than most, but no less as stunning, as always. The food, wine selection and service are all top notch. I appreciate the local focus and love the creativity the team uses in making each dish, each drink and each interaction feel special. Thanks again!

For a special night out, we had the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was creative and for the most part quite delicious but a few courses had too much vinegar or lemon juice which overpowered the food. The wine pairings at $90 per person were disappointing and too light for the courses they were paired with (like drinking watered down wine with little flavour) so we paid even more money to order our own wines from the wine list to try to salvage the dining experience. A very expensive evening we would not repeat despite the excellent efforts of our server.

I am still trying to find the negative site, but I can’t. The food and service were outstanding. Everything was too perfect to be true. I can recommend this place!!!
