Housed in the restored 19th century Victoria Quarter, The Cut & Craft Leeds is a beautiful restaurant with historic features and a show-stopping central cocktail bar.

Open every day serving lunch and dinner, with brunch and roasts on the weekend, you can expect elegant interiors in a building rich with character and a lively, vibrant atmosphere.

Named 'Restaurant of the Year' at the Yorkshire National Business Hero Awards in 2023 and 2024, The Cut & Craft combines contemporary steak and seafood dishes with a premium list of locally-crafted drinks.

We have an extensive food menu all made freshly on site including our signature flat iron steak, prepared by our very own in-house butcher.

We also regularly host brunches and special events with brands like Whispering Angel, Moët & Chandon, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS and more.

    Beautiful building, conversion to restaurant works well. Good steak menu, short but reasonable wine list. Waitress very good, efficient and friendly. Only comment: very loud club music playing at 6.30. It’s a restaurant primarily rather than a bar, perhaps tone it down a bit in volume and beat. I really don’t want to have to raise my voice to speak to staff of friends over dinner. !

    The best steaks we have ever tasted! Such good food, staff were superb from start to finish, the restaurant is spotless & such a lovely place. We also got engaged during our visit so this place we will remember forever!

    It was my first time at this restaurant and I can say it was worth it. We went at a time when the restaurant was empty and quiet (16h30) and we had all the attention of the staff and the food was great and hot when it arrived. My husband and I really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

    Lovely lunch for 4 on 6/3/25. We sat in the upstairs bar area which is very nice indeed. The star of the show was Ella who delivered superb unobtrusive service with a smile throughout our meal, she's a credit to C&C in Leeds. Meal was very good, French Chardonnay was lovely 3rd visit and will certainly be back

    Went today and all four of us had the lunch menu. 2 courses £22 and 3 for £27. Such a good deal and food was first class. I had fish pie which was tasty and full of chunky cod and salmon. Others had rump steak which was equally good. Highly recommended

    Unfortunately my friends Caesar salad was inedible due to the chicken being overcooked. Thankfully the cost was taken off the bill. Then the meringue desserts were not very well received as they were soft meringue … this was not made clear on the menu so they were very disappointing. One was removed from the bill. The sea bass was very nice but not a huge plate with one slice of potato. Even after the removal of the salad and dessert from the bill, two of us paid £60 each (including two glasses of wine each) Overall we felt that the meal was overpriced. The staff were lovely especially the girl on the reception desk. However we would not rush back although the venue itself is beautiful.

    Had their set 2 course lunch menu. 1 x prawn cocktail and 1 x French onion soup. And then 2 x rump steaks and chips, with added onion rings and peppercorn sauce on the side. It was delicious, service was brilliant and ambiance calm and inviting... background music a good level without being intrusive.
