   Lovely meal with family. Food was lovely and service was brilliant. Would recommend and we will definitely be back in the summer

   We were running a little behind on our walk and I phoned to say we would be slightly later and it was no problem whatsoever. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food, we all had the midweek carvery, was excellent. Dessert was the hot drink and mini pudding was fantastic! Plenty of drinking options too. Highly recommend this place.

   Great service & Food, only let down by no Burgers available, due to non delivery by supplier, but no real harm as there was lots of choice on the Menu. I will definitely be revisiting soon.

   Food and drink was good. It was a very busy Sunday so it took a while for drinks and food to arrive

   We have visited a few times with the current owners and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and always made to feel welcome. Today we had the carvery and it was delicious. Excellent choice of vegetables, tasty meat options and nice to have a choice of 3 sizes of plates. Also had a burger in our party and that was very tasty. The pub was very busy but it didn’t have a negative effect as we were well looked after.

   We went on Sunday lunchtime. I booked a table. When we arrived we had a short wait while our table was prepared. It was busy the atmosphere was buzzing. We were seated quite quickly in the front bar where there were 6 other tables. It was not noisy at all and felt nice and intimate. Other tables were in the larger part of the pub and more open. The service was outstanding, we ordered our drinks from the waitress at the table and they were brought speedily. We ordered the carvery which was very popular and justifiably so. It was excellent. Everyone in the front bar was having carvery. The portions of meat were very generous and everything was nice and hot. It was tasty and well cooked. I would highly recommend. The meal was excellent value.
