The Cotswold Guy, born out of bespoke private cheffing using the finest British ingredients, offers heart-warming hospitality and high-quality food and beverage produce across its farm shops, restaurant, café, online shop and catering & events service. Based across the length and breadth of the Cotswolds, we provide quality, locally-sourced ingredients and dishes, inspired by elevating the much-loved British Classics, to our ever-growing base of loyal and repeat clients.

The Cotswold Guy, Gagingwell (near Chipping Norton), is our latest opening, giving guests the opportunity to eat in or takeaway. We have all of the old TCG favourites, as well as some outstanding new additions!

Serving breakfast and lunch everyday, we are also pleased to offer Friday Pizza Day & Saturday Steak & Lobster Nights

                    I booked the Steak and Lobster night for my wife birthday and was extremely disappointed. Firstly the place was completely empty which wasn’t what we expected, then the service from the staff was quite embarrassing as they never had a clue when we ask what items where on the menu. They didn’t have a number of items we wanted and the final strew, they never had Any Lobster on Steak & Lobster night. We ordered a steak which came out cold and we returned it, considering there was only us this was incredible. We finished up our meal me not wanting a fuse as it’s a special occasion and left disappointed. I followed up days later and waiting a full fortnight with a number of calls and emails before finally only getting the money back for our steak. Real disappointment and a let down.

                    Perfect. Incredible, tasty food that has been so well prepared. Generous portions. Friendly and efficient folk running the place. Always an absolute pleasure.

                    Fantastic food. Rotisserie chicken pizza was delicious. Also the fried chicken was amazing. Definitely worth a visit

                    We recently visited both locations of The Cotswold Guy and had a fantastic experience. Meeting Chris, the founder, was a highlight; he was incredibly helpful in selecting produce, all of which turned out to be exceptional.

                    Really lovely, cosy comfortable place to chill, chat and eat delicious freshly made food. I think this might be one of my fave in the area as it’s not at all pretentious.

                    Firstly it has an open feel, one end is glazed and there are windows dotted along the side. The acoustics are good, due to the vaulted ceiling. The food was very good, freshly prepared. Both me and my guest will be back!

                    Took over an hours wait for two breakfast baps. Ran out of mushrooms and taters tots, so couldn’t have this as the additional side or with full English. Not enough staff on for a busy restaurant. Too many people rammed into a small area, couldn’t look at the fresh products to buy as tables were placed beside or in front of fridges
