   NEVER AGAIN… a birthday celebration gone wrong. The Chumley house decor was quite nice; however , the noise level was extreme made it difficult to have conversation at our table. I ordered the Bucatini alla Chumley and it was mostly oil and red chilli flakes I had to send it back. Our friends ordered the tenderloin stroganoff the dish was heavy in the flavor of mustard. The dish arrived cold and had to be sent back , only to be returned a second time cold. The manager tried to accommodate with a cacio Pepe with rock shrimp mainly butter and oil, no distinction in flavors. At these prices we expected so much more. We frequent higher end restaurants regularly and this one was a complete miss. Incredibly disappointing.

   Dining at The Chumley House was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, and every detail was handled with care. We were undecided about our choices for dinner and asked “Linda” to choose a meal for us. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. We were served the butter chicken pot pie and the seabass, both of which were expertly thought and bursting with flavor. We also had a spicy spinach dish that was savory, perfectly balanced, and surprisingly memorable—it added a unique twist to the meal that we’re still talking about. Dessert was the chef’s twist on a trifle that I am craving! The ambiance of The Chumley House is part of what makes it so special. The interior is beautiful, reminiscent of an old classic London steakhouse—elegant, timeless, and rich in character. Every design choice feels intentional and elevated, yet the overall vibe remains relaxed and effortlessly cool. The Chumley House is a true gem in Fort Worth, seamlessly blending world-class cuisine with a refined, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend.

   From walking into the Chumley house, drinks, seats, service, ambiance & food…..PHENOMENAL!!! Everything on point & delicious!!! Cannot wait to snag another reservation soon!!! Our new FAVORITE spot!

   Fun place great food for the price point. Excellent service. The acoustics are such that the main dining area can become very loud. This visit there was a really bizarre playlist going on which simply did not fit the restaurant and was distracting and very loud.

Our recent visit to celebrate our 20th anniversary was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the standout dishes, exceptional staff, and a wonderful ambiance that will immediately remind one of a comfortable old home nestled on the English countryside. The ambiance, with its cozy yet elegant touches, sets the perfect tone for a memorable meal. The beef Wellington was a highlight—perfectly cooked, with tender beef encased in a crisp, golden pastry that melted in the mouth. Equally impressive was the butter chicken pot pie, a delightful fusion of bold Indian spices and comforting, flaky crust that elevated a classic dish to new heights. For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was pure indulgence—rich, moist, and paired with a luscious sauce that left us scraping the plate. What truly set this evening apart was the service. Our server, Linda, was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, ensuring every detail was perfect without ever feeling intrusive. The cherry on top was a visit from Ben, the General Manager, whose thoughtful check-in made us feel like honored guests rather than just diners. His presence added a personal touch that turned our milestone celebration into a memory that we’ll cherish. The Chumley House isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience.    From the time we arrived until we received our car from the valet, everything was first class. Arrived a few minutes before our 7:30pm reservation and we were promptly seated. Table service was attentive but not intrusive. Our attendant, Grace, was outstanding and her recommendations were spot on. The food was flavorful, the ambiance was lovely, we felt like our patronage was appreciated. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the noise level - which was definitely "energetic"; our preference would be the speaker volume be set a notch or 2 lower so guests don't have to talk over the background music. Overall, it was a lovely first dining experience and we are definitely fans of The Chumley House! Looking forward to our next visit.

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at a this remarkable restaurant, and I can confidently say it deserves a perfect 10 out of 10 stars. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Our waiter, Michael, was exceptional — attentive without being overbearing, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a charming ambiance that made us feel right at home. It was the perfect setting for an evening out. Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The Beef Stroganoff stood out as our favorite, with tender meat in a rich, flavorful sauce that left us wanting more. The crispy rock shrimp pasta was another hit, with just the right balance of textures and a taste that was both fresh and satisfying. And if you’re a fan of dessert, the Sticky Toffee Pudding is a must-try — it was beyond worth it and the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Throughout the entire experience, the staff was exceptional — friendly, helpful, and attentive, ensuring that everything went smoothly.
