Established in 1992 by Mike Connor with the help of family and friends, The Chop House® has become one of the premier casual restaurant concepts in the Southeast, with 12 locations spread across 4 states.

I had prime rib and husband had ribeye steak. Both were delicious. Waitress was very nice.

Food great, service great. We were sat in the last open booth in a designated section where that entire part of the restaurant was reserved for a birthday party. Tables together lengthwise containing 23 people EACH. So times that by 2, plus all the surrounding booths…all for the party. We were the last booth NOT part of the party, our server had to lean in from the edge of one booth bench because she couldn’t stand at the end of our booth due to the party people up standing at walking and even sometimes leaning on our booth. Terrible placement for a reservation, not considerate at all. Have not been in over a year, we were really looking forward to it. Could not hear each other and party people even leaning on our table with hands as they walked by. Not enjoyable and couldn’t wait to leave.

I got the beef medellions. The flavor was very good but I only had 2 medellions on my plate with my side. When I had ordered that off the menu in the Past, I had received at least 4 medellions. The plate looked very skimpy. There was a large heaping pile of butter in the center of the plate. I guess they thought it would make the plate look more presentable. It didn’t . It made it look really bad.

Had to recook my filet on multiple visits. I asked to speak to the manager last night, and the waitress advised she gave us a free dessert rather than talk to the manager about the mistakes. The more I think about it, I think I should have made a bigger deal about it.

The waiting staff did a fantastic job taking care of our small party of 4 as we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Abby and others on the staff were excellent. The food was great! And the ambiance was very good. We enjoyed being able to talk to each other and hear what was said! It was quiet atmosphere. Thank you!

I got the chicken fried chicken and double mashed potatoes with white gravy on the side and a sweet tea. It’s usually big enough to share so my daughter and I split it. The sweet tea was very weak. It was like drinking sugar water. I asked for another one and it was the same. The waitress asked if it was any better. I told her it was the same. She asked if I wanted to try another but I asked her to see if the other pitcher was the same. She came back and said it was the same. I always get the chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Something was off with the gravy and the mashed potatoes were just warm and not hot. The chicken was great though.
