Welcome to The Chop House® restaurants, where we strive to provide each guest with friendly service in an inviting environment. Our service and our food is guaranteed!

Established in 1992 by Mike Connor with the help of family and friends, The Chop House® has become one of the premier casual restaurant concepts in the Southeast, with 12 locations spread across 4 states.

Our number one goal is to provide a superior dining experience to every guest. We do this by providing guest-obsessed service and generous portions of delicious food using the freshest ingredients.

    The Chop House is one of our regular restaurants to visit. Most times the experience is very good. But not that night. I ordered the Filet Of Beef Medallions with Boursin cheese topped with onion straws. Both the filets and the onion straws were cool at best; more cold than cool. The waiter asked how our meals were and I advised my steaks were not warm at all and even the cheese was cold and not melting. He offered to have them made again and I declined, as I did not want to wait while my wife finished her meal and then make her wait for me. The Chop House is usually better than this, as they have been in the past. We will return but now they are on notice with us. They are other restaurants of the same caliber if we need to take the Chop House out of our rotation.

    My husband and I had the thick pork chops with onion straws, mushrooms, and a backed potato, that was all so very tasty. My son had the filet that was cooked just right, baked potatoes and a salad, that looked very good. My husband received a complimentary desert for his birthday too. That was also very good. The big windows displayed the snow coming down while we were nice and warm inside enjoying it all. Did not have to wear my coat during dinner to stay warm, which sometimes happens at other restaurants. The waitress was also very pleasant. Thank you for the lovely experience.

    Last minute reservation on NYE forced a late night dinner. The service was very good but the food was mediocre at best. Started with the calamari and deviled eggs. There were a few pieces of calamari but mostly small shrimp. Three of the four in our group ordered the NYE special of filet medallions which I found to taste gamey. Only one person finished the meal. Drinks were ok. Wine list needs a makeover. The price was not bad but feel there’s better options in the same range. Manager was hands on and very attentive, btw.
