    Ausserwöhnliches Restaurant mit ausgezeichnetem Essen, sehr gute Weine. Muss man unbedingt machen wenn man in Natchez ist.

    I do not normally leave a poor review but since the server never asked how our food or experience was during the meal this is the only place that seems appropriate. We had 6:45 dinner reservations for four and the restaurant was not very busy. After being seated we waited approximately 10 minutes to be acknowledged and water brought to the table. When a restaurant is not busy this is not acceptable in my opinion. In fact another table was seated after us and received service before us. I ordered a cocktail and the brand alcohol I asked for was not available, which is fine so I asked the server what else the bar had and she could. It tell me so I had to recite other bourbons until she could remember one that was in stock. The cocktail once received was good. A member of our party then ordered the same cocktail and it took so long to receive it ( after we had to ask about it) that it was watered down since it sat so long. The salads ordered were all very good and were delivered in a timely manner. We all ordered the special ‘Blackend Snapper over angel hair pasta with a cream sauce’. When this was delivered 2 of the three orders of fish left us wondering if it was even snapper. The fish was not flakey and was very tough. I thought it might have been garfish it was so tough. Only one of those entrees had a fish that tasted like and resembled snapper. We were very disappointed. The server never checked on us during the meal. If she had I would have told her. The pasta was very good. We ordered 2 desserts chocolate crème brûlée and white chocolate bread pudding. The crème brûlée was delicious and the bread pudding left us wanting. We received the bill and paid. My wife said how disappointed she was and told me that she does not wish to return. This is our second visit to the castle. The first was great. How disappointing

    The atmosphere was amazing. The service was great. The food quality was not the best, but we are food snobs. The prime rib was cold and lacking flavor. The snapper was overcooked but well portioned. The Caesar salad dressing was pure mayo and the worst I’ve ever had. The Rockefeller oysters were adequate but not worth the price. We will visit again, but avoid certain things on the menu.

    The restaurant was fantastic. The ambience was just perfect for New Year’s Eve dinner. The only thing that was really lacking. Was our waiter would not clean the table from the dishes and we had to constantly ask for water refills.

    Wonderful experience dining at The Castle for New Years Eve! Ashley was a wonderful server - very attentive and engaging! We split the crab cake appetizer and both dined on the prime rib! It was delicious! For dessert we had the crème brûlée and truffles. Again delicious! Fantastic cocktails and wine selection. Great fine dining in Natchez!

    Horrible experience. I blame Open Table more than I do the restaurant. We had a reservation but arrived only to find that the main restaurant is closed on Mondays. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we expected a nice sit-down meal for two. They offered us a table “downstairs at the bar” but it was loud, the staff was short-handed, and we were way overdressed. We left immediately and found another restaurant nearby but we had to wait two hours before they could seat us. Previous experiences at The Castle Restaurant have been great, but this was a train wreck.

    Everything was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was spot on, the food was cooked to perfection, and the service was friendly and attentive. The Chocolate Creme Brulee is the best I have ever had! It was a pleasure dining there over the holiday. It's truly memorable.

    We had our holiday dinner here and had an overall great experience. We are frequent patrons and really love the ombience, people, cuisine and drinks. The pecan crusted redfish and grill porkchop entrees we tasty with excellent mixed green salads to start. Thanks to Nancy(hostess/decorator), Hailey(waiter), and Ricky(bartender) for your service!

    Our waiter was adorable and very accommodating, she had a lot of tables and could have used help. Also, training the waitstaff should be priority for a restaurant this nice. Wine list could have been better. Overall, good experience and would try again.
