Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. We celebrated my 53rd birthday with a party of seven, including both adults and kids, and had an incredible dining experience. Our server, Michael, was outstanding—truly elevating our dinner from good to exceptional. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely helpful during the ordering process. His recommendations were spot on, and at no point did we feel like he was just trying to upsell us. What stood out most was Michael’s ability to engage with everyone at our table. His friendly demeanor made each of us feel welcome and valued, adding a personal touch that made the night even more special. As expected, the food was delicious, served hot and in a timely manner. If you're dining at the Old Orchard location, I highly recommend requesting Michael as your server—you won’t be disappointed!

We always eat in Capital Grill Old Orchard and we are always happy with the service and the food and a ambiance so I recommend to everybody. Service is good. Food is good. One of the best steakhouses in Chicago.

Incredible experience!!! The steaks were perfect, the staff was pro, the room was great. There is only one problem. We just discovered this. We should have been coming since it opened.
