   I normally don’t post a negative review of a restaurant. I have a high tolerance as I was in the industry. However, the Capital Grille is one of the worst high end restaurants I’ve been to in some time. The food was mediocre, overpriced, and the service was sub par. Please save yourself the disappointment of going here.

   There is no contest on the value and taste of the CG cuisine.. why do we continue to go back week over week? Haley, is by far the cherry on top serving up an amazing experience. The bar is set pretty high to match her smile, customer engagement, expert knowledge of the menu and incredible vibe. In Louisville, KY there are many choices for steak restaurants.. none other have Haley representing their brand! Expert knowledge and refined taste. Truly an experience connoisseur.

   We had another excellent dinner at Capital grille. We ordered the scallops for our main entree and we were not disappointed. Same thing can be said with the appetizers, salads and side dishes. Shameeka did an excellent job of taking care of us making our dining experience an enjoyable one.

   Best Capital Grille! Ive been to several different locations and this was the best total package - food, ambiance, service, etc…. Highly recommend.

   It took over an hour to receive our drink order - 4 glasses of wine. All 4 food orders were a little wrong (ordered truffle fries, received regular fries). They replaced them but they were undercooked and arrived in 2 baskets rather than individual servings. Not a big deal but the service was quite slow.

   My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves as always! Food is great and service is the best. We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary and they made it special. The only thing that could have been done differently was seating the foul mouthed men sitting next to us in the bar instead of the dining room. At capital grill I’ve had the hostess look at our attire at the front and sit us on the bar side if it wasn’t fit for the dining room and that’s perfectly okay, I believe that’s their rules of attire. However both of these men had casual clothing on and one had a hoodie with a company logo on it. This seemed to be a business meeting but they should have been seated in the bar side. When people are loud and foul mouthed that has a tendency to pull our attention away from enjoy each other to wondering why these guys were sat there in the first place.

   Service was fantastic, food quality top notch, was celebrating my daughters birthday and they did not disappoint. Table was decorated and a personal Happy Birthday note was left, which wasn't requested which made it more special.

   Very nice experience. Prompt and helpful service staff. Food delicious and birthday dessert a nice touch. Would go back for sure.
