The restaurant serves an array of fresh, hearth baked pizzas to astounding homemade pasta selections and grilled to perfection steak, chops and seafood. Experience the “Cabin” cuisine with items prepared to perfection on our premises or you may request our Spa menu for the nutritional & wellness conscious palate. When weather permits, outdoor dining is available on our Cabin Patio. The Cabin Lounge features full service beverages at an 1840’s solid mahogany bar. Weekends & special dining celebrations may include piano accompaniment for your enjoyment.     Although I am upset to write this review since The Cabin is a local restaurant that we like to frequent, we had an awful experience last night. We were excited to take our two children to see the amazing Christmas decorations that The Cabin has and to have a wonderful meal together to kick off the holiday weekend. Unfortunately, we were sat in an upstairs banquet hall/room which did not have the same Christmas ambiance we were hoping for to show our kids. Also, our waitress was trying her very best but had to walk a mile to get any type of food or drink. Every single table around us was complaining about one thing or another. It took us an hour and 45 minutes to get bread and two hours to for our meals. When our meals arrived, they were cold and lacking any type of taste. We were never given the opportunity to get a refill on our beverages. We then had to ask for our check 3 times before it arrived 2.5 hours after sitting down. Overall, we had an expectation of a nice, family Christmas meal and it was everything but. If you ever find yourself here, please be sure to ask NOT to sit in the upstairs overflow room. I can promise it's not the experience you are hoping for when arriving.

    Had a lovely lunch with good friends. Lovely holiday atmosphere. So pretty how decorated it is!

    We were there 12.18 for a friend’s birthday and girlfriend get together! We got to meet JoAnn - she is truly a lovely person who creates magic with her decorating each season. Nicole was our server and she was most attentive . Food was great! It was a wonderful evening’. Thank you so much!

    I'm sorry to say that we did not have a good experience this time. We did not get our table until 50 minutes after our reservation time, which was 6:30. Then, we sat for a full 15 minutes with no water and no server. My husband finally got up at 7:35 to request a server and one eventually came. The first appetizer brought to our table arrived at 8:15, an hour and 45 minutes after our original reservation time. We were never offered bread. We were never offered to be given anything comped. We even paid for my daughter's birthday dessert. It was a very expensive evening and we were at the restaurant for well over three hours. Although it was beautifully decorated, I'm not sure I can go back again.

    Great server! Beautiful Christmas ambience! The food is very average, but we don’t come for that. It’s a Christmas wonderland! A tradition we always look forward to!

    The atmosphere is what brought us in. The Christmas decorations are beautiful! However, we were very disappointed with the food. It’s average at best. Pricey steaks with poor meat quality. We came from Mentor and will likely not visit again.

    Our family has a yearly tradition of celebrating Christmas at The Cabin. This year, however, our experience was disappointing. After waiting for an hour and a half, we had only received water. We had ordered Brie as an appetizer, and after inquiring about its status, the manager was called to our table. The manager's response was both rude and dismissive, claiming that the kitchen was overwhelmed and that our request was unreasonable. We believe that it is not unreasonable to expect to receive food within an hour and a half, especially considering our polite and patient approach. The situation worsened when, after two hours, the manager informed us that they were unable to fulfill our order and were asking other tables to leave. There was no apology or any attempt to accommodate us. Given our long-standing tradition of dining at The Cabin, this year's experience was incredibly disappointing. It's shocking that a restaurant would be unable to provide any food to its customers.

    Beautiful all year, but at Christmas it is absolutely amazing. We didn't want to leave. The fireplace added warmth.
