I have been to this restaurant before and it was ok so I don't know if it was a bad day or if it has changed hands. We went for lunch 11th January 2024 - Bad start - we waited to be acknowledge even though staff could clearly see us, not even a 'hi we won't be long', just ignored, they weren't busy, the cafe had maybe 20 guest. We were shown to our table which was dirty (sticky) we asked for it to be wiped, the waitress wiped it with a dirty wet cloth which made no difference. The service was good for ordering, we took our time and the waitress was happy to come back a couple of times to take our order. The food was average at best. My husband had what looked like poached egg in tomato sauce and he said that's what it tasted like too! My order was fine, a bit tasteless and nothing to rave about. The price was average $26 per meal. Its a shame as we were meeting a friend for lunch. Will try again one day as maybe it was an off day for cooks and staff!

Got there for lunch at approximately 1:20 the restaurant was empty. The menu was mostly breakfast and boring. The food very average. Even the price was not good for only 2 small bowl of food.

From previous observations I knew this cafe would be busy so I turned to their socials for menu and booking information. It’s here on their Instagram I found the link to book via Open Table. On arrival, I advised the waitress that I have a booking but was promptly told “we don’t take bookings”! Luckily she was able to find me a table in the hottest part of the venue from which my companion and I had to move from. Orders took more than 20 minutes to be taken despite restaurant emptying out. Small sparkling water on the menu not available so I had to upgrade to the more expensive large bottle. Would I dine here again? No.
