We are an iconic destination housed on the banks of the Rideau River in a green space setting at
1 Donald St., where the Adawe Crossing spans the Rideau River. A walking, cycling path
meanders outside our doors, and we are an access point for the Rideau Winter Trail. Since 2017
Rideau Sports Centre and The Bridge Public House have been open to the public offering tennis
and a variety of sport activities on the location of the former Rideau Tennis Club, which operated
for over 100 years. At The Bridge we offer great tasting food cooked from scratch and warm,
friendly service.

We attended the Seinfeld trivia night. It was enjoyable, entertaining and very well run by the MC. We did not go there to eat so didn't order anything from the menu. They have a good selection of wines and beers, including non-alcohol beers.

Booked a table for two on Valentine’s Day. Found out upon arrival that there was an event booked that involved an entire kids camp group. They also had someone with a mic and a loud speaker doing trivia throughout the evening. The staff was also very clearly overwhelmed by the amount of people so service was extremely slow, if your order wasn’t completely forgotten like mine was the first time I made it. People were nice and food was good but after all this I would say it’s extremely unlikely I would ever come back to this place, which is a shame due to its beautiful location and delicious food…

The Bridge is a handy place to grab a bite to eat while out for a walk, after tennis, or just for a pleasant meal with friends. Service is always good, and servers are friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and everyone has a good time. There are often new items added to the menu, and old favourites like fish and chips.

We were there for a team lunch and needed to be gone by 1pm. The server did his best to accommodate and was very friendly.

So tasty, unreal burgers but make sure you have time as service is very pleasant but a little slow.

No where near as good as it used to be. Only had Ontario wines available. Cobb salad had too much dressing. Husbands pasta was just so/so.

Our bartender/Server, Chris was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wine and beer selections. His recommendations for food were appreciated and helpful. His service was impeccable. It’s been a very long time since we received service like that. The ambiance was perfect. A fun, relaxing place to have drinks and or dinner with friends. In addition, myself and a colleague organized a retirement party at the Bridge and we were very pleased with how smoothly everything went. We had it outside on the upper deck. It was beautifully decorated and the food and service was great! Michelle looked after us and she ensured we had a stress free fabulous party.
