The Black Grape - a new small plate restaurant located on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. Expect small plates, wine & good times in a stunning setting. This custom designed wine bar & restaurant is the ideal setting for intimate date night dining, drinks with friends or a quick snack as you people watch in the heart of the city. Our menu is a gastronomic tour de force with inspiration from around the globe. One thing unites all our dishes however - bold, punchy flavours and plates that are perfect for sharing. In addition to a 40 seater restaurant the Black Grape also has a cozy wine & cocktail bar - expect a carefully curated selection of drinks soundtracked with the best funk & soul.

                                            Top notch evening at Black Grape. The Abroath Smokie Arancini in Cullen Skink cream was to die for...as were the cocktails. Have recommended to colleagues already and will be visiting again when next in Edinburgh. Thanks you Black Grape (you have a amazing team!)

                                            WHAT a lovely meal. Date night for me and my husband, away on a rare weekend without the kids. Black grape was a last minute booking I found on open table - it did not disappoint. The cocktails are AMAZING and the food, phenomenal. My husband said ‘top 5 meals of his life’. The service is also exquisite - young, attractive and energetic servers who are knowledgable and attentive. HIGHLY recommend

                                            Average menu, not a good ambience. After some stressful news it was not the environment to relax in. Food was ok but not amazing. Toilets not well kept.
