Specified no booth so that tells them we wanted the Barn. They take us down the hall to a room with twelve people at one table and try to seat us there. It was so loud you couldn’t talk. After a wait they did seat us in the Barn. Beginning service very time consuming. Crab egg rolls were inedible as they were 95% cream cheese. Soup cold. Downhill from there. No return visit necessary.

It was amazing, On time and service was incredible. Jendaya was very helpful and spot on. Had the soup and salad and it met my expectations plus.

We were seated in a different room than main dining area. Very bright lighting, high noise level and ambiance were lacking. If they do not have room in the dining area then they should not take any more reservations rather than putting customers in a make shift area. Food was very poor. Ordered the filet and it was a bad cut as well as overcooked. Cesar salad with chicken was small. Menu needs to be revised. It took over 30 minutes to get a cocktail from the time we ordered and an additional hour to get our food. We have been a loyal customer of the barn for years and after this experience we will not be back.

Have dined at The Barn before and have NEVER been disappointed. Yesterday was a birthday for a family member. It was not announced - the goal was to have an early, private dinner. The meal was absolutely delicious. The chili rubbed 8oz filet mignon was perfectly seasoned on an island of sweet potato silk with an accompaniment of broccolini and cooked to perfection. The braised short rib and mushrooms with pappardelle was spectacular. The server was flawless and gracious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The one thing that many of us forget: it is the chefs who make the magic happen at the diner's table. The Barn's chefs are truly hidden heroes. We asked to meet the young chef who had prepared our meal. It was truly a pleasure to tell him that his skills had made a birthday dinner so very special!

We had not returned to Allenberry for quite sometime after a few”experiences”. This was a welcome change/ surprise-very good! Will return.

Romantic spot for a special occasion for a date, we have been dining at The Barn since a family member got married at the Allenberry. Hospitality is and always has been absolutely amazing.
