The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too!

We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad.

Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.

We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).

Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.

Last orders at 3.30pm for food.

The renowned 1867 Breakfast Experience, available 7 days of the week. You can choose from the usual hearty breakfast classics, plus a few unusual breakfast twists for this time of the morning – the Breakfast Stack, for example, is just divine and enough to delight your tummy. All of our breakfast ingredients are freshly sourced as locally as possible – the sausages and bacon, in particular, are cured specifically for the 1867 guests. Complete your Breakfast Experience with our renowned COFFEE and large variety of specialist teas. Staff were excellent, as was the food. We chose the bagels and weren't disappointed at all. Coffee was exceptionally good too. Definitely will be recommending and returning soon 🤗

Very basic cafe style with a few main courses. Adequate venue but really , nothing special. Service was friendly enough.

Really excellent breakfast. The plate was not piled high which was nice but there was plenty of it. Quality over quantity and it was fresh. Lovely poached eggs and really nice bacon. I'd recommend a little more butter for the toast (those sachets never spread far enough) and the beans could have been warmer. Perhaps a choice of bread or toast? But these are minor quibbles. I will certainly be back. Excellent. Thanks
