The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too!

We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad.

Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.

We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).

Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.

Last orders at 3.30pm for food.

    The renowned 1867 Breakfast Experience, available 7 days of the week. You can choose from the usual hearty breakfast classics, plus a few unusual breakfast twists for this time of the morning – the Breakfast Stack, for example, is just divine and enough to delight your tummy. All of our breakfast ingredients are freshly sourced as locally as possible – the sausages and bacon, in particular, are cured specifically for the 1867 guests. Complete your Breakfast Experience with our renowned COFFEE and large variety of specialist teas. If you are arranging a table for a special occasion, be sure to tell us all about it in the message box or alternatively, give our crew a call on 01327 342284.                                                                           Food was excellent. Ambience was perfect and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Perfect experience. I am so lucky to have 1867 on my doorstep. This is my second visit this year! Looking forward to my next visit.

                                                                          Was very noisey in the quiet room - 2nd time been seated in there and if loud people the ceiling are low and so difficult to hear each other talking such a shame

As a charming Victorian barnhouse, the 1867 has its unique quirks, including some lower ceilings. While it adds to our historic charm, we understand it may not suit everyone.                                                                           My daughter and I had lunch today.The food was lovely and the staff as usual were very attentive and pleasant. This is always my favourite place to go.. Today we were given a 10% off for our next booking, 10% off for the plant barn and 10% off for the Art gallery.

                                                                          As ever an extremely tasty nicely presented lunch. Cheese and onion toastiest and a lasagne were enjoyed on our table both served with a side salad. Staff are always very welcoming despite the restaurant being really busy
