   We loved it here! We ordered chips and guacamole and cheese dip and a couple margaritas to start. Our dinners were delicious as well, but our server Kenzie really made it an excellent experience. Would absolutely go back!

   The service was good but the food was overpriced could get some just as good at a cheaper Mexican restaurant.

   Thank you for the review, Bowen. We are a big, bright, restaurant built on fresh, coastal flavors and traditional Mexican entrees. We are not trying to be the cheapest place in town. Just the best! We hope you will come back for another visit!

   Awesome spot right on the waterfront of Wilmington. Only one star lost for ambience because some of the tables were pretty close together that there was little to no wiggle room between the back of my chair and the guest sitting at the table behind us. Food was fresh, tasty and hot! Our server was very attentive and friendly, she made sure we had everything we needed at all times. And the music and vibes were definitely on 10! Jamaica Margarita is now my new fave marg!

   Friendly server but she was in the weeds for our entire meal. Good Birria and adequate tacos. Drinks were very small for the price and place was too loud.

   Thank you for coming in and for your review. Yes, the waterfront was hopping that Saturday with the St Patty's Day Parade and Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ Festival. The restaurant was busy, full, loud, and vibrant! We would love for you to come back on a slower night and enjoy the waterfront!

   Just beware if you add a small sour cream (or similar) to your tacos there is an up charge of 1.99! It was no bigger than the quarter size tiny plastic container. Waiter never gave us a heads up. Really! We were a party of six and Very generous. Out petty.

   Thank you for coming in and for your review, David. Yes, anything requested that is not part of your entree comes as a side. Side items come at cost including sour cream, queso, guacamole, etc. I think you would find that our business practice of charging for sides is consistent with the industry standard.

   Overall service was average, food was slightly above average. Brought out fajitas but and said tortillas were coming - had to ask 3 people for tortillas before they arrived 10 minutes later. Was worth the trip but will not come back. If you’re looking for really delicious food and a great experience, i would keep looking.

   We’ve been wanting to eat at Tequila’s since it opened and we were not disappointed. There were a lot of atypical options, which is great, because you can only eat so many fajitas and tacos (though they have those too). The drinks were delicious and the space is airy and colorful. All around, a great dinner. Will definitely go again when we are back in town - can’t wait to eat outside!
