Mal ehrlich - es ist mittlerweile fast so schwierig, ein Restaurant in der Innenstadt von Crown auszusuchen, wie eine Nadel im Heuhaufen zu finden. Und bei so einer großen Auswahl ist es schwierig zu sagen, nach welchen Kriterien man sich entscheiden soll. Darum bringen wir Ted's BULLETIN an den Start, ein klassischer, echt amerikanischer Treffpunkt mit Stil. Hier wird Ihnen schnell klar, dass die Preise unverschämt günstig sind, zum Beispiel für unseren Blaubeerkuchen, der noch viel besser als zu Hause bei Muttern schmeckt. Und das freut Kinder und Erwachsene gleichermaßen. Das BULLETIN ist nicht zu einfach, aber auch keineswegs zu überladen. Das einzig extravagante sind die Insignien und die Beleuchtung, die aus der historischen Philly Convention Hall stammen, in der der Boxchampion Joe Frazier im Jahr 1965 zum ersten Mal um einen Titel gekämpft hat.

Food was unfortunately extremely disappointing. Ordered the steak frites; nothing special. My husband ordered the reuben - he wasn't a fan either - the thousand island dressing was lacking and even when requesting more on the side, it didn't taste like thousand island. Dessert was ok-the raspberry pop tart was not great. We were taking an out of town friend here and wanted to treat her to dinner - unfortunately this was not the experience we were hoping for. We left hungry :( We've eaten several times in the past and recalled it being pretty good, but this was severely lacking.

We had an amazing Valentine lunch at Teds. The jalapeño popper wontons were to die for! Brenden was our server, he did an excellent job at explaining the menu and was extremely professional. This has been one of our favorite places to eat for years and we’ll definitely be back!

Terrible overall. Dead flies all over the wall, crusty dishes, room temp/crusty Pellegrino, burnt toast that was presented with "good side" up (very deceiving), and so much garlic on everything it burns your eyes to have food on the table in front of you. When addressing the issues with the server, we were told not to hold out hope that the manager would do anything worthwhile, and it would be best to leave a review. He was right....the manager said "he would let the GM know about the dead bugs everywhere" and that "there isn't much he can do, he's just the supervisor"...."it's probably best to leave a review so HR has to get involved". So, here we are....don't waste your time, health or money here.

Ted Bulletin is so versatile. Not too fancy that you couldn’t pop in for a casual meal, but also you could go there for a special reason. Also so many different options. If someone is a picky eater, can’t eat certain things, or is simply craving a certain cuisine, there are options for them.

I’ve enjoyed breakfast at Ted’s Bulletin in the past. Unfortunately, today’s visit was disappointing. I ordered the big Mark‘s breakfast with well done bacon, and I asked to substitute for the tart. The server suggested avocado which I agreed to. First, the bacon didn’t come out well done. Not a huge deal. Then, towards the end of the meal, I realized I didn’t get the hashbrowns. When the server returned, I asked him about it, and he speculated that the kitchen substituted the avocado for hashbrowns. I told him I also didn’t get the tart. He offered to get me a tart, but that was the one thing I didn’t want. He didn’t suggest potatoes. Finally, when I got the check, there was a $2 charge for avocado. It’s only two dollars, but it was one slice of avocado, and I wasn’t told there would be an additional charge. The meal was fine, but the experience was disappointing.

The service was good and the food was good fine. The kitchen did make mistakes on two of the three dinner orders, but quickly corrected them once this was brough to their attention.
