   We believe in supporting local restaurants and this was our fourth or fifth visit to Teatro. The food has been good every time. The service, however, has continued to get worse each time. It has gone from "new" which we understand as the team could still be learning, to poor. Our server was mediocre at best. Not sure where she was most of the evening as she only had 3 tables (that was all that were even seated at the time) but she couldn't be bothered to check on us in a timely manner. Little things like clearing plates, bringing new silverware after appetizers, literally making us move our own appetizer plates out of the way so she could put the entrees on the table, bringing steak knives out before the food was delivered, waiting to go put in the one dessert order we placed to see if others were ordering dessert, bringing out silverware to eat the dessert before the dessert was delivered and making excuses for the slow food instead of apologizing. We really wanted this place to do well, but we will not be returning.

   Food was so amazing but the bar was horrible. The drinks are small for the $$$. 3 tables no one at the bar and took 20 mins for drinks. Saw the ticket for drinks. Cleaned glasses and walked away for 5 mins ish then maybe decided to make the drinks

   What a great place for a great meal with quiet and romantic ambiance. Drinks are always good too. We love coming here.

   Absolutely wonderful! The setting in Old Town Grapevine is cozy and intimate. The service is exceptional and attentive. The wine list is impressive and the fare savory. Their gelato is perfection.

   As a first timer I know I will return. Carolyn and Maddie were great and made our experience personal and exceptional. The food was amazing and plated beautifully. The food was hot (temperature) and that is one of the things I appreciate when I eat out. Cocktails were made with love. It’s a hidden gem and I would recommend trying it if and when you’re in Grapevine.

   Unfortunately, 3rd visit to Teatro was NOT the charm! We tried to order FIVE different bottles of wine and they were out of all five. The owner came and explained that they were unable to order until the first of the month?? We have never had this experience at a restaurant and it certainly impacted our entire evening. They were even out of an after dinner Port wine. Three of our four entrees (tortellini and halibut) were very good, but the steak was thin and gristly - totally different than our first visit in December. Hope they can get a better handle on their alcohol inventory as dry January is over!

   Hello Julie, I remember your party, you came in at the last day of the month and it is usual in the restaurant industry to hold liquor purchases to the beginning of the following month, and that why I took the time to come to your table to explain it to you then offered a complementary bottle of a great Italian red blend to your table as an apologetic gesture and choice of remaining despite the short wine inventory, or leaving to comeback another time of the month, I was honest before your dining experience exactly to avoid your public venting; but I guess you accepted my wine, had your dinner and still found the time to seat down and talk bad about a common usage in the restaurant industry. Very smart, kudos to you. I am sure we have better venues in the area to accommodate your views.

   I brought my friend here for a birthday dinner before walking around Main Street. We were on a little bit of a schedule and the food seemed to take a while to come out and they weren't overly busy. (we arrived at 5:30). The zucchini chips were crispy and the feta dip to go with them was delicious, kind of like a tangy ranch. The pork chop was seasoned nicely and came with some delicious mashed potatoes. The real star of the night was the potato leek soup, wonderfully velvety and smooth. Had a little bit of a misstep with a drink order that they were missing ingredients to make something fairly common, and the alternative that was offered wasn't too tasty, a little bit of a let down.

    First time going and will likely be our last. Really nothing was very good except the zucchini appetizer. Lamb chops were meh, pasta was meh. Food came out lukewarm. Mashed potatoes were a bit runny. Maybe we caught a bad night but nothing really stood out. It gets really noisy as well. Also seemed like some of the smoke from the adjacent cigar place made its way into the restaurant. Clothes smelled a bit like smoke when we got home.
