VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

My fiancé and I spent our birthday there it was a great time. The food was good and everyone was so nice. I’d definitely be back.10/10 the vibes were perfect. I felt like I was in Greece what a beautiful ambience. THANK YOU for making our night great.

Horrible experience. The restaurant wants to be high end with their pricing, but their service was terrible. It took a while for the waiter to get our drink order. Wine was ordered with the meals, but we didn’t receive it until after we were finished eating. A couple of us ordered a second glass. Waiter forgot we ordered it. This type of thing happened throughout the evening. He would barely show up at our table. We felt very rushed and not attended to. The food here is tasty but pricy. And if you’re gonna charge this much for food and drink, the service should be commensurate. Far from it. We were ignored half the evening, even though our bill for six of us was over $500. Also be aware this restaurant has a DJ playing music, and it’s extremely loud. Not the type of place that you can enjoy conversation with friends. We did tell management we were unhappy with the service. They apologized and offered to do something, but at that point we were tired of waiting for everything and couldn’t wait to get out of the overly loud atmosphere. And by the way, the six of us are Greek. As Greeks, we pride ourselves on hospitality, but unfortunately that didn’t exist here. We won’t be back.

Great food, great time. Breads and spreads are always good. My lamb souvlaki was amazing. It was a little noisy but only because everyone was having fun.

Excellent spot! We were there for lunch and everything was exceptional. We tried the spicy feta dip, salad, soup and pasta dish - amazing service, ambiance and tastes!

The covered terrace was beautiful. The $25 lunch special lets you pick two items, a starter and a main. Both were delicious

Very slow service, we waited over 15min for our waiter. Food was mediocre, we only loved the desert.
