   Was fairly disappointed the menu had changed since the last time I was there, and there were no real entrées meaning any kind of substantial protein choice for an entrée and the staff, despite being friendly seemed inexperienced and sloppy

   Love this place always. They appear to have switched to a mostly pizza dinner menu, but it's all good (the cacao e pepe was delicious!) and with a salad and wine wine, it is heavenly.

   I can’t wait to come back! Loved dinner — shared the bread which is a must have, Caesar salad (which was ok), and the combo pizza. We ended with the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious.

   Great food but I believe that the menu is better at breakfast or lunch. And there was no bread left to purchase at night, which was disappointing but at least we got to order some. Delicious!

   Food is always good. Service is friendly but painfully slow. We were there almost 2 hrs and most of that time was waiting for food and drinks to arrive

    Hosted an event at Tartine for 10 people. I'll start by saying the vibe is amazing and the food is really quite delicious! My thoughts on Tartine for a group dinner is: -> Food 5/5 -> Service 3/5 -> Value 2/5 When eating as a group, you are asked to partake in a price fixed menu. At $65 per person plus fixed tax and tip you end up at $86 per person. Across a table of 10, we got a handful of appetizers off the menu, 6 total pizzas, and then dessert. On the appetizers, we mentioned having a vegetarian in the group, but the restaurant didn't bring out a veggie substitute for the salad with fish, or the meatball appetizer. For the dessert, they actually ran out of one of the desserts and upon asking if it was going to come, they mentioned they had ran out. Without offering an alternative. Lastly, the bill came and quoted a price that was different than the online price per person. As a host of a large group, it's important to me that these details are handled because I feel responsible for the experience and value of the party. It's tough to leave a review like this because the food is really world class. Tartine takes the craft of breadmaking and applies it thoughtfully to each dish. My recommendation for the restaurant: at the current price point for a prefix pizza menu, don't leave anyone feeling hungry. We aren't whipping up handmade pasta or meticulously plated entrees. Increase the quantity of food by 1.3x, communicate with your guests about outages, and proactively offer solutions. I hope to come back one day assuming this is resolved!!
