   We were here for lunch a year ago and interested in returning. This time the food was disappointing. Appetizer meatballs were quite basic just ground beef - nothing to brag about. Kale salad was ok. The pulled pork had an off flavor combination - it should have been great but the flavors were just working against each other - maybe too much sauce on the meat so it over powered the vegetables. Good ambiance and service but food needs more work.

   Amy was a great server. She engaged with the family and took really good care of us. The food was great and everyone was happy with their choices. The Smokey Old Fashioned was excellent. Will go back again!

   We have been to Talus a few times. We live about 40 miles away so it’s a bit of a drive. But we were celebrating my birthday with our best friends and I chose Talus because it is always good and we were able to make a reservation. We were seated right away in a booth which was perfect as our friend Dave will be having a hip surgery soon and the booths are more comfortable. Our server, Angela, came over right away with waters and to take our drink order and explain the Valentines menu. She made our experience that much better. I had the cod which was cooked to perfection and super flaky. The potatoes served with it were excellent and the vegetable medley was delicious . Our friend Marilyn had the seafood risotto which was delicious and creamy and a very generous portion. The guys had the salmon and both said it was some of the best they have had. The Valentines special drinks were very good especially the raspberry which was so creamy and delicious. Worth the drive and we will definitely be back.

   Love this place especially by the fireplace when the weather is cold outside! Our favorite dish is the crispy Brussel sprout salad with shrimp! Yummy!

   We love our neighborhood restaurant! Best dinner I’ve had in a long time, great cocktails, excellent service. Couldn’t ask for more!

    Great Experience the family loved it. Food was priced well. Old Fashion was smoked, best I’ve had in a while.
