Tahk Omakase is located on Lincoln Street in the heart of beautiful downtown Steamboat Springs.
We offer the best sushi you will find in Steamboat and beyond. Open Tuesday-Saturday at 5pm.

Reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome.
We offer regular tables, high-tops, sushi bar seats, and our community high-top bar.
Please visit tahksushi.com or OpenTable to book reservations and view our menus.
You will confirm with a secure credit card link.

We appreciate timely arrival for your reservation, we can only hold tables for 10 minutes.
We will do our best to accommodate your party but cannot guarantee a table.

We will not be answering the phone during our busy dinner service, we will likely check next business day, or we will check OpenTable DM. Take-out will be limited depending on the capacity of our restaurant.

In the case you don't cancel the reservation within 24 hours, your card will be charged $25pp.
If your party is 9 or more, please call to reserve.

Omakase Tasting is offered for a 5pm and 7:30 prompt seating times, Tuesdays-Saturdays. This is a true one-of-a-kind dining experience without booking a ticket to Japan, you'll be paired with a talented Sushi Chef at the Omakase Bar where you will be served each of the 12- chef's choice courses. During this 2-hour dinner you will learn about the intricacies of fresh fish and seafood from around the world. This is offered Tuesday-Saturdays only. The sushi bar is limited to 10 seats, and this is at the sushi bar. If your Omakase party is over 8 people, please call to reserve. To reserve go to "EXPERIENCE" in Open Table or reserve through the 5 pm or 7:30 timeslot and choose "OMAKASE 12-COURSE" or call 970-439-0444.

Great sushi. The highlights are really the fresh nigiri and sashimi. Rolls are good, but if you are in this place and skip the fresh fish on the board, why? Sake menu is strong.

We got a bad server. The last time here was memorable for all the right reasons. This will be the biggest contrast of experiences that I have experienced. Funny how bad service can ruin a great meal.

Simply delicious! Every bite prepared by Chef Tahk reflected his dedication to delivering a culinary experience. Truly a lovely and memorable evening. We’re already looking forward to next time.

Great experience, Service is on par, sushi 8/10 a little overpriced for what it is. it is the only real sushi game in town, however.

We reserved three spots for the Omakase experience and thought we were all in for a great experience and meal. Having had various omakase-style tasting menus before, I believe this place is very overpriced. Sure, the place is located as far as you can get from the sea and all ingredients are flown in from the four corners of the world (which in turn makes you wonder about your dinner's carbon footprint, too), but there was something in the flavors that just wasn't there for me. Almost 700 usd for a dinner of three with two drinks each was, in my opinion, just too much money for this. The drinks were all exceptional, as was the very attentive service of our servers.
