Tahk Omakase is located on Lincoln Street in the heart of beautiful downtown Steamboat Springs.
We offer the best sushi you will find in Steamboat and beyond. Open Tuesday-Saturday at 5pm.

Reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome.
We offer regular tables, high-tops, sushi bar seats, and our community high-top bar.
Please visit tahksushi.com or OpenTable to book reservations and view our menus.
You will confirm with a secure credit card link.

We appreciate timely arrival for your reservation, we can only hold tables for 10 minutes.
We will do our best to accommodate your party but cannot guarantee a table.

We will not be answering the phone during our busy dinner service, we will likely check next business day, or we will check OpenTable DM. Take-out will be limited depending on the capacity of our restaurant.

In the case you don't cancel the reservation within 24 hours, your card will be charged $25pp.
If your party is 9 or more, please call to reserve.

During this 2-hour dinner you will learn about the intricacies of fresh fish and seafood from around the world. This is offered Friday & Saturdays only. The sushi bar is limited to 10 seats, and this is at the sushi bar. If your Omakase party is over 8 people, please call to reserve.     Reliably excellent as always. The off-season special was a great value. Extremely high quality ingredients prepared very well. The obvious opportunity for improving the experience would be to make their own desserts. We had a cheesecake dessert because it was included in the special, but wouldn’t otherwise purchase dessert a la carte if it wasn’t house-made.

    So delicious! Best hamachi carpaccio ever! Very tender sashimi. Loved it all!

    My favorite happy hour in town! I love this space and the value of the rolls on the happy hour menu, always a treat to eat here!

    We had a delicious dinner at Tahk Omakase. We had the shishito peppers, edamame and the carpaccio special to start. We tend to go with the recommendation of the server and let the chef choose - so we had the salmon belly nigiri and the California Uni. The sashimi was excellent all really tasty and well prepared and presented. We will go back.

    The fish quality was good but the sushi/sashimi portions were very small. The cocktails were awful and were sent back. The sushi slices were small and very very thin for the price. Felt like robbery

    Hands down our favorite restaurant in Steamboat whether eating there for happy hour, stopping in for a medicinal bowl of miso or the phenomenal experience of dining omakase with Chef Tahk!
