   We used to come here when we could order any tea we wanted. Then management changed and we could order two teas of our choice and they added 20% gratuity to your check. Then management changed again and you got three types of tea that the restaurant chooses for you. We could not order our favorite teas.They also don't bring scones as an appetizer anymore and instead include it in the tiers of food, so the food was bread and sweet heavy. In past years there was a wider array of food types on the tiers (i.e. sandwiches, salad and fruit, sweets)

   Thank you for attending our ‘Spring is in the Air’ Proper Tea. We understand changes can be difficult to adjust to and appreciate your patronage. Our monthly Proper Tea service which is held the last weekend of each month allows you to order all of your favorite teas as you have been accustomed to! Our themed events, such as the tea you attended, are curated events from beginning to end. This allows guests to try new teas and participate in a truly unique experience. We hope to see you again soon.

   My daughter and I attended the Spring Proper Tea and our expectations were not only met, but were greatly exceeded! Everything was perfection. I honestly cannot think of one aspect of our visit that could have been improved upon. The service was so far above and beyond any other I've experienced. The food was delicious and delightful, the tea was surreal, the atmosphere exquisite. The attention to detail and care put into this tea room is outstanding. Definitely a notably superior establishment. I obviously cannot say enough positive things about the Swan House Tea Room! We will be back for sure.

   ✨ Absolutely Delightful! ✨ I had the loveliest time at this adorable tea room! From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted by the charming décor, the beautiful mansion and the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the experience feel extra special. We made scones and I could tell it was so thoughtfully planned, with little touches that showed true care and attention. A perfect spot for heartwarming tea time—I can’t wait to go back! ☕💖✨

   Amazing! First time going and we had a wonderful time. Tea choices were many and delicious. Tea was nice and warm. :) You can take whatever you don’t finish drinking to go too! Nice music and lovely atmosphere. Loved it all and will come again. Highly recommend.

   I scheduled a lunch here with my daughter. I was really expecting more for the price. The place is nice but it is not intimate. You are packed in a room with over twenty other people. I was thinking it was more of a lunch menu but they only offered a tower of bread and sweets. For the money it cost, I do not recommend. I wish I would have known because I would have taken my daughter somewhere nicer for that money.

   I’m sorry your experience at the tea house didn’t meet your expectations! We do not serve lunch on Saturdays but rather Proper Tea, which is the tier you received. As this was not a private event, we did serve other guests for Proper Tea on that day. Our goal is to create a beautiful and authentic Proper Tea experience for all guests.

   **Please Read if Gluten Free** We had a wonderful high tea at Swan House! The new decor gives a great atmosphere, especially for a mom’s meet up! The tea is amazing, especially the chai! One note of caution - if you have a Gluten Free member in your party, be sure to tell them ahead of time when making your reservation. (They do not state that you need to on their site/menu) While they note GF options on their menu, unless you give them notice, they aren’t able to accommodate as well. They also up charge for GF. They were able to make the two in our party that are GF some options and apologized for not having this stated anywhere and also didn’t up charge for our visit - which we really appreciated. But word of wise for our next visit and to others to definitely let them know/add it in the notes when making a reservation :)

   We had formal tea in the "wisteria room" - lovely ambience and good quality food and service. Exotic flavors of tea to suit all palates. Perfect for a special event or occasion.

   Be aware that the formal proper tea is only served on Fri and Sat. The regular menu choices are limited. The scones and tea are excellent. You can even take some home.

    Portion sizes keep getting smaller and smaller. Been coming here for years and this is the most disappointed I have been with the food.
