Crowned by an Eric Parry-designed glass roof, the restaurant runs along the entire east side of the market making for beautiful rooftop views across the piazza.

Bold in design, SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden offers a host of inviting dining and drinking experiences: from the bar with its ‘living ceiling’; the exposed kitchen to the terrace overlooking the square below and the private dining room with its own entrance and terrace.

Afternoon Tea at Sushisamba is something a little different and also good value for money (vs the A la Carte menu). The deco is lovey and has a nice view of Covent Garden!

We had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived until we woke up the next morning. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, and the service was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our evening and are already planning our return visit, or perhaps we'll explore one of their other locations.

The service for the cupcakes was very long and the cupcakes were not good enough. We have complained about that and the manager of the restaurant helped us for the discount however, we’re not unhappy with the price. We are not happy with the service time.

We went for the premium set menu, all of which was memorably delicious. The lobster tacos were spectacular - I can still taste them. Excellent waiter service and overall a very enjoyable evening. Sharp intake of breath when the bill arrived though…….

Food was lovely and a great atmosphere in the restaurant, service to start was great but then we seemed to be lost a little and had to ask for our wine (which we already had some of) and waited a while for the bill The oddest thing was when we turned up we were told we were late but they could accommodate us, I pointed out we were time and I don’t even get a response? Didn’t set the evening off to a good start

The food was extraordinary as always—special shoutout to the El Topo sushi and the Moqueca Mista large plate, which are eternal family favourites—but the service this time showed a considerable improvement over my earlier visits. Our serves were attentive and warm despite the restaurant heaving with patrons, and I really appreciated that. Can’t wait to return!

Not excited at all The place is well designed and gives pleasant impression. However the service was very slow, took around 20 mins to get the drinks. The food was pretty simple and we didn’t like samba roll as it had a distinct oil taste. And after all they have forgotten to deduct 40£ reservation fee from our bill so I need to make calls and send proofs now :(
