Like Japan, Peru has a millennia-old history. They are two great, ancient civilizations with two major culinary traditions. These traditions complemented one another, and neither of the two sides absorbed the other to the point where one disappeared. SusherÍa menu is the result of this great union and the experience/vision of Mauricio Fraga-Rosenfeld and his dedicated culinary team lead by Peruvian Executive Chef Javier Angeles-Beron.

About the experience -
Susheria is a unique casual-glam restaurant concept where you will enjoy Izakaya, a Japanese style of service. The Japanese version of tapas, dishes will be served when ready. Izayaka is a perfect moment to enjoy life, laughter and great conversations while sharing food and drinks.

This is my 2nd time and I love the food and ambience! I came for an event with a DJ so I understand there were more people than expected. However, we made a 4 person reservation for 9pm and were not seated until 10pm. It seems the staff has a hard time enforcing the 2hr table reservation which inconveniences all other parties. Very Unfortunate for such a nice establishment but hopefully not a hard fix if this is communicated when the party sits down and throughout their reservation.

i had a rough week & planned dinner here with my best friend. i’m sooo happy to have chose this spot. it’s super cute and the DJ experience just topped it off! the food was amazing too (a little pricy but worth it)! we even got a hookah afterwards & just enjoyed the vibes. 10/10 recommend 🫶🏼

We had an early reservation. It wasn't crowded, but it took 15 minutes for someone to come to our table. Drink prices were way out of line for the area. The decor was just a little shabby and tired. Only one bathroom was open, so I had to wait 10 minutes in a line to use one. The food was fine though. Nothing special but definitely not the issue here.

Perhaps it was an off night but the service was incredibly inconsistent. We ordered drinks, apps and entrees and hookah. The hookah was ordered 30 mins after every other order however, before we got our drinks and food the hookah came out first. The food was okay but it was a beautiful venue. Sad to say the hookah was the best part of the meal.

The sushi and sashimi at Susheria are fantastic, the pisco sours are delicious, and service is attentive. Despite great decor, unfortunately the ambiance is lacking. We were hoping for a cozy date night and were greeted with nightclub-level music. We heard two other couples comment on just how loud it was when they arrived, so it wasn't just us. You really have to raise your voice in order to hear each other or your server. Also, despite it not being very full, we were seated right next to another couple. There were many other tables that were open that would have provided a better experience for both couples.

Had an amazing time for my bday. My lychee mocktail was not that good until it got to the bottom and it was small, but the sushi and gyoza amazing even the calamari. Food and vibe and service all there.
