Sud Forno Temperance is housed in a beautiful heritage building in the heart of the financial district with soaring ceilings, custom-designed mosaic floors and installations that celebrate farming and our philosophy of Materia Prima. We invite you to come and enjoy our full-service restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner. Here we serve a number of traditional Italian dishes not found on the Terroni menu alongside well-loved Terroni classics. There is an elegant and intimate dining space on the second floor, as well as vibrant and bright dining space on the main floor. Come experience our Aperitivo hour daily from 4PM with signature cocktails and stuzzichini.
In the spring and summer months, choose to dine on our lush garden patio where you are transported away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown core.

    The steak was fantastic. The pizza was enjoyable. The pasta was satisfying. The dessert was exceptional. While the service was not remarkable, it was adequate overall.

    The food was good but the service terrible. They brought out our salads and pasta at the same time, we never knew who our server was having to flag down various people throughout the night. We waited 30 min after eating to have our plates cleared. We paid our bill and a server came back and tried to give us our bill again. I would not rush to go back.

    I thought this would be better as the restaurant is an offshoot of Terroni. Not so much. Fritto misto was tasteless, except for the shrimp which smelled fishy. The pizza is thick, kinda like Little Caesars, but not as tasty. Nothing like Terroni, which is excellent.

    Great dinner. Lovely spot, wonderful ambiance and fast efficient service. Food delicious and plentiful. Really enjoyed the whole evening.

    I had been wanting to visit Sud Forno as I had passed it regularly but the experience was quite disappointing. it was Valentines day and appreciate the place was busy but the table we were given was next to the door and there was a constant draft. By the second course my partner needed to put a jacket on and by the last course I needed to do the same - it just became too unbearable. Food wise our starter of Burrata was fantasic - nice flavour and very fresh. My pasta dish was also very tasty and I enjoyed (Tonnarelli alla Norcina) but my partner ordered Tagliolini ai Gamberi e Bottarga and they ate less than half of it. The pasta was dry and the shrimps did not taste the best. Maybe it was a bad night and other nights would be better but I will probably try other places before going back.
