Studio Gauthier is the exciting new project from Alexis Gauthier, taking over the unique and beautiful setting of the BFI building in Fitzrovia. Beautiful velvet booths meet austere concrete and California colours with a large open kitchen to see everything the chefs are preparing. The 100% plant based menu features, for the first time, Gauthier Soho level dishes in a less formal and more wallet friendly environment, perfect for a fun evening with friends.
Also don’t miss the private, sheltered mews terrace at the back.

    I have been to Studio Gauthier before in the evening, but this was the first time I went for lunch. The food was excellent as always - tasty, inventive and beautifully presented. There wasn't any other customers having the full lunch - probably because we were eating quiote late (2.45pm), and that meant the ambiance was a bit lacking. It was also a bit chilly but it was very cold outside that day. The staff were a bit shy too, but I will come back, maybe not for a late lunch, but the evenings are great here!

    Went to studio Gauthier for our anniversary but was very disappointed. Everything was just ok but no ambiance.

    The food can be made allium free as well, which I really appreciated. I booked for celebrating my husband’s birthday, they provided a really nice cake for him to celebrate,which was lovely. Definitely will visit again and recommend to friends.

    OMG! We loved it. Mehdi was a very friendly, knowledgable and efficient waiter. The food was amazing! The wine pairing was perfect. We will come again, no doubt! Luxury and conscience can live together. Thank you

    Stunning food and beautiful service. Very good value at current prices - we did a wine pairing tasting menu and it is out of this world. So delicious, filling yet you don't feel like you've overeaten. Each course a work of art, the wine curated perfectly, highly recommend. Service is great, too!

    Honestly I have no idea what happened this evening. I really can’t comment on the food as the whole evening was overshadowed by the other events happening inside the restaurant simultaneously. We appear to have shared our evening with a beaver convention (that was active with real time talks, people and music) and the remains of an earlier event that revolved around the Korean creative agency KOCCA (sinage was still going strong and onlbstructed our entire view of the restaurant) I actualy didn’t know if I was tripping from jet lag or if this was inrl .. it was a real shame as I had booked this for my friend who was visiting from America. If we were given a “heads up” that the restaurant would have been sharing its space tonight .. and offered to reschedule - we would have .. even if this was upon arrival I would have taken this option. —-/ Not all was lost as we did learn that “beavers don’t eat fish”- at least we laughed Most surreal dining experience yet

    The food is outstanding. It's difficult to remember you are eating vegan. The staff are also brilliant. Would recommend to anyone.
