Stoke & Rye by Chef Richard Sandoval is a modern American grill with a menu reflecting both the Colorado landscape and Chef Sandoval’s creative stylings. Dishes are genuine, time-honored, and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving, and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great foods. Grilled steaks, flamed tomahawk, hand-cut steaks and chops, shucked oysters, house-smoked line caught Colorado trout and more comprise the menu highlights.

    The restaurant was having an off night probably due to the amount of folks trying to get a table. They were booked full up. They just weren’t ready for that many people so service and food suffered. They were very kind to take several items off the check that were not up to standard.

    I wish I could remember our server‘s name! He was an older gentleman, and he was 100%amazing! Very attentive! Our food was delicious! We love Stoke and Rye! Please never change your butternut squash soup recipe! ❤️

    Exceptional service and a standout lamb shank, perfectly paired with Silver Oak. Not all restaurants carry it due to its exclusivity, but more should—it’s an outstanding pairing. A great dining experience!

    Starting w cosmopolitan which was made w grapefruit Not!! Then vuvue which was very warm 😝 The onion soup looked good but was adequate Crispy iron skillet served in cool skillet w blubber instead of crispy skin. Dish was like warm at best The hamburger was so overcooked couldn’t eat & bun fell apart as it seemed stale Cacio di Pepe was bland dry pasta NOT creamy The filet at $68 was served sliced 2 slices not a true Filet mignon I would not recommend eating here Atmosphere was nice

    We made a reservation through open table and when we arrived they did not have a table for us. There were many open tables and we were told they were being held for other reservations. We waited 45 minutes for a table to become available and squeezed 5 people into a 4 person table. The waitress appeared and told us she had two tables to take care of before us. We felt like second class citizens the entire time. Not sure why open table allowed us to make the reservation when the restaurant clearly did not have capacity for us. Very poor experience. We will not be returning.

    Service was terrible. The fondue was so tiny, it was fit appropriately for a toddler not 2 adults.

    A Horrible Christmas Eve Experience! My son and I had a reservation for the restaurant at 8:00 PM on Christmas Eve. We decided to order the 52 oz Tomahawk since it had a table-side presentation. We ordered it medium well and were informed that it would take 30 minutes. After 65 minutes, a small table finally rolled to our table. We noticed there was a supposedly 40 oz piece of meat on the hot cutting board. When we asked about the Tomahawk steak, our waiter said they had run out. As he cut the thick piece of meat, it was burned on the outside due to the flame and completely raw inside. He tried to cut it into smaller pieces and cook them on the hot cutting board, but obviously, it didn’t work. He gave us a few small pieces, which were about rare to medium, and took the rest to the kitchen to cook. Fifteen minutes later, the meat came back burned on the outside and about medium to medium well on the inside, but it was very rubbery. Finally, the manager showed up, apologized, and offered a 50% discount on something that wasn’t worth a penny. The waiter was very apologetic, but the manager wasn’t as concerned as he should have been. He could have offered us another option, but unfortunately, he didn’t care enough to do that. So, I would give them a negative rating if there were one.
