   We really enjoyed our meal at spice Thai, the staff were helpful with any questions we had and so sweet and kind. The food was so tasty, I asked for quite spicy and it did not disappoint! I got the crispy pork belly Thai green curry and the spicy prawn tom yum soup- both gorgeous and great level of spice, I also recommend the prawn crackers and som tam papaya salad, all delicious and great value for money, I recommend and can't wait to go again! I miss Thailand a lot and the food and people took me back, was amazing thank you!

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at Spice Thai on Castle Street with my niece, following a recommendation from one of her friends. It was our first visit, and it certainly won’t be our last. I arrived slightly earlier than my niece and was warmly welcomed and guided to our table on the first floor. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A waiter kindly let me take my time with the menu and offered me a drink while I waited. The drinks menu had a great selection of cocktails, wines, and beers—I opted for a draft beer, which was perfectly chilled. My niece arrived about ten minutes later and ordered a soft drink. We were both impressed by the menu—so many tempting choices! We decided on a starter and a main course each, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. The waiters were attentive and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed without hovering. The ambience was just right—relaxed and comfortable, with a nice buzz but not too noisy. The price was very fair for the quality of food and service we received. Overall, a fantastic experience at Spice Thai. We’ll definitely be back!

   We have been many times before but this time we were so disappointed. We left feeling with a bill of over £80 for 2 people for an uninspiring meal. One of the highlights of the menu is the weeping tiger steak. We have had this previously and it arrived to the table sizzling, with lots of drama. This time, the steak arrived in a cold hot plate, with some raw vegetables, and a steak which wasn’t cooked to how we asked. The shared starter, at over £25 left much to be desired in terms of quantity and quality. Worst part was that a 15% service charge was added to our bill which left a bitter taste after an underwhelming experience. Unfortunately, probably won’t visit again.

    Visited with friends for a catch up meal. Friendly helpful staff, extensive menu, almost too much to choose from! Food was excellent and served hot rather than luke warm like happens in some restaurants. Overall a great experience and would recommend.
