Nestled amidst lush greenery and framed by a serene courtyard, previously 2 Michelin star-awarded Somni offers an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. Chef Zabala will redefine Somni as a personal, transportive, and emotive experience for guests, reflective of his Catalan heritage and love of Southern California which he now calls home.

Somni features an extensive tasting menu and offers seatings at both the Chef's Counter and private dining room.

Somni's 400-selection wine list highlights top producers from Spain and California as well as some of our favorite bottlings from around the world. Corkage is $150 per 750 ml (limit 2 bottles per party) for bottles not on our list. Contact us at info@somnirestaurant.com to inquire about bringing your own bottle.
Due to Somni's unique menu, we unfortunately cannot accommodate dietary restrictions, including gluten, dairy, egg, gelatin, nut allergies, or vegan, vegetarian, and no meat/seafood diets.

With just 14 seats at a wooden chef's counter (plus an intimate private dining room), acclaimed chef Aitor Zabala will blend his Catalan and Basque heritage with his connections to southern California on the menu. Expect highly imaginative and transportive dishes—a take on Spanish cuisine that earned the original Somni two MICHELIN stars.

Book our Private Cellar Room via OpenTable or email us at info@somnirestaurant.com. A 1,000$ deposit is required to secure the booking and will be applied to the final bill. Experience Somni's tasting menu in a luxurious private setting. The cellar experience takes place in our private dining room adjacent to the wine cellar. While you will have the private room all to yourself, you will still experience the same innovative menu and hospitality that Somni is known for. This experience includes the menu, our high-end "Calafia" wine pairing and the private room for the entire evening. Kindly note that, at this time, Somni is unable to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions.

The Somni Experience includes the menu plus a choice of beverage pairing: -Classic "Arrels" Wine Pairing: $720 per person ($500 deposit) -Non-Alcoholic pairing: $645 per person ($500 deposit) The Somni Experience features a communal counter seating and offers the opportunity to observe Chef Aitor’s culinary mastery first hand. The experience includes our tasting menu and a choice of either our classic "Arrels" Wine Pairing for $720 per person (highlighting the best of California and Spain) or the Non-Alcoholic pairing for $645. Tax and gratuity are not included. Upon request, the wine pairing can be upgraded or exchanged for bottle choices. Kindly note that, at this time, Somni is unable to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions.

This place was an unmitigated disaster. $2000 with tax, tip and wine pairing for food that simply did not taste good and resulted in my partner and I taking turns in the bathroom all night thereafter. The service was lovely. The restaurant is gorgeous. They are trying hard. This is place is trying to be like French Laundry. This is no French Laundry.

It very nice and 3 star like setting. Everyone was nice. Most of the food was a hit. Can't win it all. The wine pairing is more on light side. 7 pours for 20ish dish. So it's like sampling. If you really want to enjoy, then buy a bottle or bring your own. It's like every 10min there is a dish. You will be full. I think if the price is around $300 before getting the star. It would be perfect and then once it get some star then move to $400.

Somni is my favorite restaurant. Aside from the food being the best you’ll ever taste, the service and ambiance are second to none.

An exceptional fine dining experience unlike anything in the USA. Three stars will be coming back to Los Angeles, and it will be earned by Somni. Expect to see many many awards for this new age fine dining experience. Top class and without any pretension

Phenomenal dining experience. The restaurant decor is just beautiful from the heated outdoor patio to the dining room. The food was absolutely delicious, each dish had a stunning presentation. Service and hospitality was world class. The delivery of each course was carefully choreographed and executed.

Somni 2.0 easily surpasses the 1st iteration. A few old faces are a welcome presence. Food, service, presentation and staff are all wonderful and all go out of their way to make a special evening for you. Special nod to the non alcoholic pairing for those who dont drink. Though it is all quite spectacular.
