   After wanting to visit Sofia’s for a while, I finally booked a table last Saturday with a group of eight. It was absolutely amazing—everything from the food to the service and ambience exceeded expectations. We opted for the $79 banquet, and every dish we were served was full of flavor and incredibly tasty. The experience was seamless, and the staff made us feel well taken care of. The only downside? Finding parking in busy Surry Hills on a Saturday night was a challenge—but of course, that’s no fault of the restaurant. If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend booking an early dinner or even going for lunch to avoid parking hassles. Overall, we loved it and will definitely be back!

   Our party of 10 had a fantastic lunch yesterday at Sofia on Cleveland. Everything from the food to the service, to the ambience was faultless and would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone.

   The atmosphere is so inviting from the moment you walk up the stairs. The service from making the reservation to the attentiveness of all the staff was spot on, and that all before we even talk about the food. Fresh produce cooked to perfection! The lamb ribs are a standout, the Murray Cod simply finished with Lemon and EVO was also the star. Can’t wait for our next visit.

   I just celebrated my Birthday with my family, at Sofia on Cleveland and it was absolutely beautiful. From the second we walked in the manager and team made us feel so welcomed! The service and food were outstanding I also received a complimentary cocktail which I really appreciated. The decor, ambience and atmosphere were also very classy and sophisticated. I truly had such a special birthday and will be back.

   The overall quality of the food was solid, earning a strong four out of five. The steak and lamb dishes were well-cooked and flavorful, while the ribs were tender and satisfying. However, the major downside was the lack of balance on the plates. The steak dish came without any sides, and both the steak and lamb lacked accompanying vegetables, making the meals feel overly meat-heavy. You shouldn’t have to pay extra just to have vegetable options with your meal, especially when they’re essential for balance. Additionally, the salad portion in the shared menu was definitely not sized for sharing—it felt more like an individual serving. Including more generous sides and vegetables would go a long way to enhance the overall dining experience. But the desserts slapped best vanilla cream thing I’ve ever had.

   Outstanding Cuisine, had the 2 person Banquet which was very generous. The lamb ribs were to die for. Very attentive friendly service that paid attention to detail. Would recommend to all.

    We had an amazing night at Sofias’s. The food was absolutely delicious , fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. What truly stood out was the exceptional staff, they were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, a wonderful ambiance, and top-notch service!
