Fun , casual relaxed dining we don't take our selves too seriously but we take our food seriously.
Great local craft beer range, awesome full strength cocktails & a solid wine list.
We use all Aussie iron bark in our offset smoker, to cook the best wings, ribs and brisket around.
Lots of other menu options available, we think our burgers are pretty special as well.
Awesome views of the Bay.

Our meat is slow cooked for up to 12 hours using Australian ironbark and red gum, giving it a flavour and tenderness that is unique to us. There is something for everyone on the menu, even if you don’t like smoked meat.

    On arrival, was seated at a table that was made of chip board and flaking every where ,falling apart and wobbled terribly. We asked to move and moved ourselves. The staff were rude throughout our whole dining experience to every member of my table. Not one single staff we spoke with was pleasant, helpful or welcoming. The food was terrible. The brisket on the burgers purchased was chewy and dry. The coleslaw on the brisket plate tasted off and was inedible. Chips were all dried and shriveled. The jug of mojito ordered tasted like lemon cordial and had no alcohol in it, very clear after consumption by a single person. It was filled with mint that had been simply ripped up and chucked in like a handful of weeds floating in the top. One of our table members accidentally knocked a chip from their plate and a waitress raced over and scolded him and said “do not feed the pidgeons, they are a health hazard “. To which we responded to the telling off, that he absolutely had been doing no such thing. The carafe bottle of water placed on the table was filthy and grimy. As was the cutlery holder in the middle of the table. We were given bread knives to cut our meat up with. Requests for a steak knife went without action and eventually we had to get up and go and find one ourselves. The food was not cheap and definitely not value for money. And then to top off a less than impressive lunch visit. 3 out of the 4 from our table were ill within hours, all purchased the brisket. 2 out of the 3 regurgitated the meal up. Do not recommend this place at all!

    We went with open minds. Things to know. No table service. You can use the QR code to order, but with recent scams using these we chose not to. Drinks - same deal. We went to the bar. Next, there are only booths inside. Tables are only outside. The staff were polite but not overly helpful. Next, the serves are HUGE. The ribs were dry. The shredded pork was nice. The chicken legs were the best of all we ordered. The fries (chips) were OK. There were no serviettes - I asked for some, was told there were none, just take them off of another table!! A bit later, the ? manager brought some over saying that they had been put in the wrong cupboard. When asked about the meal, I said that the Coleslaw tasted'off' and sour. She said it was fresh in today, made tonight. Later we were told it was made on buttermilk- not their usual dressing and that tomorrow night they would be back to their 'old' Coleslaw dressing which had not been available. We were offered dessert as a way of compensation which we declined. Overall, we all felt that a lot of excuses were made. There was no recognition of any query etc. It might have been an off night, we don't know but, we won't be back.

    Meat was cooked perfectly but there was no flavour. The cowboy beans are amazing. Do not recommend the pork belly! Be prepared to spend money!!

    Perfect service, perfect food, perfect dining atmosphere, the music was great and not blaring like cactus jacks. Everything was perfect considering its my first time dining at slow smoke bistro. Would definitely recommend dining here. It is also a good atmosphere to take the family and kids.

    Had a booking, upon arriving stood near the sign where it advised “please wait to be seated”. Multiple staff members on preoccupied, the place was not busy barely any patrons. Finally managed to get someone’s attention by waving them down. We were advised to sit down in a part of the venue, as there were vacant seats everywhere we asked if we could sit in a booth to which the staff members shrugged “I guess, take a seat anywhere”. There was no table service as it’s all done by QR code (pretty standard) but we sat down ordered, drank and ate with plates clear all in under 40mins. Now you may think this awesome but while we were waiting for food we saw the chef eating food as he was cutting up and plating food. Hygiene my bro hygiene. Food was poorly seasoned. I can’t even count how often my husband and I salted our food. The sauce that came with the brisket tasted like HP sauce. And it was all just extremely lack lustre. Side note we witnessed two uber drivers sit at the bar have 2 alcoholic beverages each while waiting for the uber delivery to be packed up. Do not rate this place at all, you would probably be better off getting a burger at Maccas or KFC at least there would be flavour in your meal.

    The chef wasn’t eating he was executing quality control. Quality control bro. That is a house made baste that contains Worcestershire sauce. They weren’t uber drivers they were customers waiting for their take away. We provide salt and pepper on the table so you can season to your taste. You’ve made a lot of assumptions none of which are accurate.

    We had gone here for a different date scenery and just had an uninviting vibe which was disappointing as we got recommended to go here. We heard specials were getting offered to other people as the waiter staff had said to people she knew “she wasn’t letting everyone know” We then walked out without anybody knowing as we finished our meals and did not feel welcome at all.

    we went to slow smoke bistro to try a different restaurant for our date night and the restaurant did not disapoint us the food was amazing we enjoyed every bite of it. it also wasnt oily at all which was another bonus! friendly staff friendly service! well worth the 38minute drive. food is definitely worth the price! 10/10! would recommend trying! this restaurant :) <3
