   60 Pfund nur dafür, dass ein Tisch reserviert wurde, ist schon unverschämt!!

   Wagyu Beef Burger und Pommes waren ausgezeichnet. Netter Empfang, Service hatte im Verlauf dann nachgelassen. Zum Schluss wurde man schnell abgefertigt. Aber allein wegen der Aussicht und den Toiletten ein Besuch wert.

   Ambiente sowie Aussicht waren top! Preise sehr hoch für die Größe und Qualität der Speisen! Man zahlt eigentlich nur für die Aussicht so viel… Wir hatten 1 x Roasted Salmon (39 Pfund) mit Reis (extra 10 Pfund) und der Lachs war sehr klein! 1 x die Summer Roll with Prawns = leider ohne passende Soßen!!

   We were really disappointed with the food. It was cold, and I expected both the service and food to be top-notch, especially after making the effort to come such a long way. When I pay for something that expensive, I expect to get what I've paid for.

   We had a fantastic evening at Sky Lounge in The Shard. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was incredible — the night-time views over London’s skyline were truly breathtaking. It’s the kind of setting that instantly elevates any occasion. The service was friendly and attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and the cocktails were beautifully crafted. We sampled a couple of their signature drinks, each one perfectly balanced, creative, and presented with style. Although we didn’t order food this time, the bar snacks — especially the burgers — looked absolutely tempting, so they’re definitely on our list for next time. What really stood out was the overall vibe — sophisticated yet relaxed, striking that perfect balance between upscale and welcoming. It’s the ideal spot for a romantic date night or celebratory drinks with friends. All in all, an unforgettable experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy London from above. Already looking forward to our next visit!

   Great views and lovely friendly staff. Food was simple but tasty if a little pricy, although comparable to London prices really, but the views more than make up for it.

   The views, were exceptional , the service was superior and the cocktails and cheese platter were delicious. However the music did not set the tone! I felt as though we were missing strobe light and dance floors!! It should have been sophisticated piano / acoustic mystic, instead it boarders rave!

    I booked a table for 4 at the Sky Lounge at 9.15pm for a nightcap on the way home from dinner. Bought an expensive Gin & Tonic (£23) and 3 mocktails - £12 each. We were there for half an hour before leaving for a train home. It wasn't particularly busy but the waiter thought fit to come over and tell us there was a £30 minimum charge per person. We had spent £77 in 30 minutes and not hogged a space that someone else could have used. The view from Sky Lounge is OK, not that great (view from the bathroom is best!) We left feeling ripped off and I won't bother taking guests there again. The OXO Tower does better cocktails and has a much more welcoming atmosphere. You still get views of the river. I feel The Shard is a very overrated spot these days.
