Food was excellent but the lack of appropriate, timely service greatly reduced the enjoyment of the evening. The server was polite but very inattentive. No steak knife brought for steak, no checking on us to see if we needed anything, and did not clear used dishes. Our first and likely only visit. For prices as high as these, both food and service should be excellent.

We had high hopes for our special night at six and sky. The menus looks great and the presentation of the plates was on par with the desired tier of the restaurant. But the food preparation was disappointing. When we arrived we noticed a couple concluding their meal with both plates generally untouched. One being the strip steak, the other the chicken. Despite numerous intimate tables of two. We were sat at a table for four next to a part for for and behind a table of 12 that had to be walked around. The noice was louder on this side of the restaurant and it was freezing up against the doors to the patio. When we used the restrooms we noticed the other side of the space had a warm and enjoyable feel, opposite to ours set among larger groups. Our server visited infrequently due to the table of 12 blocking the path. The strip steak was a pure salt lick. Good quality and all sides were also prepared well. But the steak was destroyed by the excessive salt application and was far from medium rare when it arrived. We noted this to the sever and no manager or discussion followed. Due to our placement we tired of waiting to have our check processed and just found anyone on our way to the door to execute. From our visit the main area between the bar and kitchen was what this establishment strives for. The extended area was not. And hence the rating. Disappointing night. The mussels were good. But that was about all I can offer as a positive from our visit. Over seasoning a steak can occur but based on our observation of other guests it was a duplicated offense. And at $48 why ruin such a good piece of meat and then overcook it. While we had already booked our reservation it ended up falling on restaurant week. As some businesses often treat “restaurant week” patrons differently I hope that this was the case, but nonetheless we will unlikely return.

Things started off well I went downhill from there. It was Restaurant week so we ordered off their special price fix menu. Our server was very friendly and helpful initially. The appetizers came out quickly and the shrimp cocktail and burrata were very good. At this point a table of five came in that must've been very needy as our server was completely occupied with them and we barely saw her again. Our entrées came out and the steak was very good, but the mahi-mahi was somewhat hard and flavorless. Our dinner dishes were never cleared from the table. When our desserts were delivered we had to move the dirty dishes around. To make room. You would think the person that delivered the dessert might notice and have someone come and take the dishes away. We were there way longer than we wanted to and in the end I just wanted it all to be over. Not worth the $200. the outside space looks very nice and would be a great place to spend time on a summer day with great views. Being on the top of the building inside, you really don't get views of anything while seated because of the high walls around the patio space.

The tuna entree was very good with the bland over cooked rice pilaf. The food presentation was beautiful. Service was average. Please add blue cheese dressing for salad option. The ambience is great.

Zack was an incredible waiter. He was kind and attentive. This was my boyfriend’s birthday and the first time I had met his mom but Zack created a very welcoming environment and made us all able to enjoy the night without worrying about a single thing. Thank you, Zack!!

Excellent food, exceptional service and the overall vibe was fantastic. What a beautiful space with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and city skyline.

The food was AMAZING...the portions were WELL above expectations. And our waiter, Zach, was TOP NOTCH! We highly recommend visiting regularly, and requesting Zach. :-)

We enjoyed our evening at Six and Sky after a long hiatus. The food was very good, seasoned well. The portions were quite large. I would encourage a smaller plate or share option. The staff was wonderful. We look forward to another visit.
