   As a Coeliac my review is from that point of view. It was a very nice meal but I did feel that the gluten free options were more limited than previous visits. It is always still in my top 10 restaurants!

   I booked this for an early Mother’s Day lunch for my mum and her sister. While we were the first to arrive, we were the last to have our order taken, which was disappointing. The portion sizes were quite small, so I’d recommend ordering extra. We also found the vegetarian dishes to be on the sweeter side. That said, the restaurant’s riverside location was lovely.

   Absolutely fantastic food and service. Some of the flavour combinations are truly amazing. My only criticism would be the chocolate desert on the testing menu essentially turns into chocolate soup and it would be nice to have more texture/different flavours.

   Outstanding food and service. This was our first visit and it won't be our last. We had the 7 course tasting menu with accompanying wines. The pairings were exceptional. The subtle flavours of the delicious food were a delight. The pace of the service was just right and the staff were very attentive without being too fussy.

   Very disappointing. Can’t believe an ex Michelin star chef is associated with this restaurant. I’m sure he can’t cook here? The starter was underwhelming - not flavoursome and under seasoned. The halibut for main was not good - spices not cooked out properly and flabby skin - crispy skin would have made such a difference. Two tiny pieces of broccoli - hardly worth putting on the plate and overcooked rice. Roasted potatoes that were mushy and unpleasant and should have been crispy.

   This is the third time we have dined here and every occasion the food has been excellent but what makes this place is the quality and attentiveness of the staff.

   We have been to Tamerind and Benares restaurants and our expectations were high. Overall, the food was good and the waiters were very attentive. However I wasn't blown away like I have been many times in Benares. If you are expecting a Michelin star curry and service, you will be disappointed, but well above average curry, then this is the place for you.

   Was a large group who were very loud which made it difficult for us to hear each other speak. Food was good as usual, alcohol is a little overpriced. Also extras ordered soon adds to tge bill! Good service, attentive staff and friendly

    Had a wonderful lunch. The food was delicious and the staff wonderfully attentive but not intrusive. We will eat here again and recommend it to friends. The view is lovely too.
