We made a reservation and when we got there and got seated, we sat for more than 15 min without anyone coming over to get our drink order. The bathrooms were some of the worst conditions I’ve seen in a restaurant. I’d rather have gone to a busy 7/11 bathroom in the hood on a Saturday night than use this facility. We ended up walking out after 20 min of absolutely zero service. If I’m gonna spend that kinda money at a restaurant, I expect way better. I would have given zero stars if I could.

The food was cold. Calamari tough and chewy. Grilled shrimp tasted fine but were cold.

They told you they gonna give you a pound of shrimp on a 100 dollars dinner plate and i just got 7 shrimps on my dinner also they take so long on serve you i think we deserve better treatment on the money i spend

The wait at the door was unusually long and the restaurant was sort of empty. After we were finally help the waitress was very nice and the food was great!

Crystal was very accommodating, she went above and beyond. My son especially loved her, it was his 9th birthday. The food unfortunately was not good. Shells were soft and the seasoning was clumped up and did not evenly coat the boil. Nothing was fresh. I was very surprised as I usually enjoy shell shack. Wish they played the game out loud as it was Sunday.

Hostess greeted us with a smile. Luckily we had a reservation as wait time was a little long for 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Come to find out, there were only two wait persons working. We were a little concerned about what type of service we were going to have. Lucky for us, Crystal was our server, and she was phenomenal. She took care of our party in a timely friendly manner as well as taking care of her other tables. She made our visit worth the trip. The food was very good. We will definitely come back.

We were excited to try this place and were happy that they were able to accommodate our group of 20 ppl on a Sunday afternoon. The servers also were very nice and accommodating. However, the food overall was subpar. The catfish (grilled and fried) was extremely fishy-tasting….very off putting. The fried shrimp tasted decent but had too much shell left on it under the batter. Therefore, we had to peel the breading back to get rid of the remaining shell in order to finish eating HALF of the shrimp. The seafood boils lacked seasoning. They were out of boiled eggs. The onions rings were a bit tough and fibrous and a little difficult to eat. The overall temperature of the food was not hot enough when it was brought out. The best dish at the table may have been the kids’ chicken strips and fries. Also note worthy, we were obviously celebrating a birthday, but the restaurant failed to offer any type of treat for our birthday guest. For all of the reasons outlined above, we will not be returning to Shell Shack-Arlington.

This was my first visit. The fried calamari was okay. My pound of crablegs were delicious! Our waitress was attentive and friendly.
