Very nice Sunday lunch. Plenty of it, piping hot and cooked well. Staff were helpful and attentive.

Lush experience start to finish. It was our first meal out with our 8 week old baby for my partners birthday. We were given a table with plenty of space for the pram and the staff were lovely and attentive. The food was delicious with excellent vegan options for my partner. I had the truffle rostis to start which were unbelievable and my partner had the vegan tart which he raved about. I had the pork belly for main which was beautifully cooked and the gravy was the best gravy I’ve ever eaten. If we lived locally we would definitely be back.

We had a lovely lunch from the lunch club menu . Staff extremely accommodating and helpful . Excellent value at £13-50 including a pint of cider We will be back and have been recommending to all !

Terrible experience. We arrived at 11.50am for our 12 noon booking in the pouring rain. The door was locked so I tapped on the window to attract the attention of one of the staff who was sitting using her phone. She indicated they were closed and open at 12 and then turned her back on me and continued on her phone. The instructions advised they give your table away if you’re late. Arriving 10 minutes early isn’t ever an issue at any other restaurant so I had to wait outside in the cold and pouring rain with my elderly parents. No apology or acknowledgement when eventually let in! Ambience is poor, food okay but very expensive for what we had. Not at all recommended. Hidden service charge too. The £188 bill didn’t indicate there was a 10% discretionary service charge- if was only when I’d paid and got my receipt that it listed the 10%charge that they had already included in the £188. Poor parking facilities. We will never return.

Brilliant night last night team! The food was delicious, the dj was great, the staff were attentive. Danced for hours and sang for just as long. The best NYE for a while!

We were a party of 8, and our experience was amazing from start to finish. The service was excellent. We all received our meals at the same time, piping hot. The food was superb.

Excellent food, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. Sadly, we didn’t discover this place until the last night of our holiday because we would have eaten here far more often. Wish I lived locally.

Standard of food for Sunday lunch was reasonable but the meal was let down by the waiting staff. They were not rude but neither were they welcoming. They did the bare minimum required but there was no obvious desire to ensure we enjoyed our visit. As the two staff serving us were the same I would suggest that this was lack of training. Front of house should be welcoming! A minor point, if you have the external doors open it would appreciated if the smokers are kept at a distance so we do not have to share their smoke while eating, not pleasant.
