   This was a superb experience. The Seastar roll was one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever have. The salmon was so fresh and served at the absolutely correct temperature. Just felt like it melted in your mouth. Also had oysters, the sashimi, and escargot… all excellent. Finished off the night with espresso and the pineapple cheesecake. Espresso was excellent and the cheesecake was the highlight of an already exceptional experience. The cocktails were certainly worth it as well. Bellevue is full of great places to eat. This quickly jumped into my top 3.

   Gretchen our server was amazing. What a wonderful restaurant filled with people enjoying themselves and the amazing food. Love this place!

   Happy hour is a busy time but it’s a bargain. $2 oysters are a great deal! Dinner was very good, we had Salmon, scallops, black cod and seared tuna. All dishes were delicious although I was wishing for some wasabi for the tuna. The clams were shared and are always great.

   Our group of 4 each raved about their meals, the service, and the relative ease of parking and accessing the restaurant. Prices are upper end but not outrageous and well represent the value received. The restaurant was packed and a bit noisy but in a festive way.

   The food was expertly prepared. The super Dave sushi roll was excellent. The tuna main course and the black cod were exceptional. The truffle fries were excellent as always. Our waitress and Somalier were very nice and made the experience very pleasant. A nice surprise was that they do not charge corkage on Sundays.

    We spent nearly $1000 on dinner. Server didn't take or order for nealy 20 minutes, didn't take our kids' drink order, forgot an appetizer that was only served after we reminder her and the appetizer dishes/cutlery was cleared. Got our entrees wrong. My entree was lukewarm on a piping hot plate (heat lamep? heating drawer?) Totally minor, but we had to refill our own wine. Forgot our port and didn't actually receive it until dessert was done. Overall, truly bad service - no apology. SeaStar used to be our favorite special occasion restaurant. We won't be back.
